I was passing through Catania and stayed for a night at the Savona. The price was right, the room excellent and the location superb. Other reviewers have complained about the stairs but I found them about the same as other urban Italian hotels that don't have lifts. A really nice surprise. more

We booked the Savona for a short holiday in Catania. The location is excellent next to Piazza Duomo. Rooms clean and spacious. The rooms on the back are quiet sheltered from noisy Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate.
