Have stayed many times here. Perfect city location. Great staff and service and food but decor looking tired. Beds need replacing! Will definately stay again. more

We had a good stay at Excelsior Grand Hotel. We specially approved the fantastic view to Etna every morning. That made our day. There are several quite good small restaurants nearby. The service at the hotel was as good as you have to aspect. more

This hotel was pre-booked for us as part of a conducted tour of Sicily. The room was excellent, clean with an enormous bathroom. A bit too formal for a holiday hotel. A modern, business-oriented hotel with a professional, courteous, efficient staff. Our pleasant (non-smoking) room in the back, was very quiet, clean, had great air conditioning, an excellent bed and mattress and a spacious, beautifully decorated marble bathroom. We've stayed in the Excelsior. Heres a brief rundown. hotel is an okay part of the city ( you can walk to the shops. bus out in front).
