I only had one night here after flying into Sicily, but easily could have stayed longer. The owners were welcoming and friendly and offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and transport. The rooms with external bathrooms are spotless and large, but a little dark (being downstairs). The superior rooms looked much nicer. The common room -- well you couldn't be anywhere... More

Gattopardo House should be rated in the top 20 hotels in Catania. We loved sleeping in the bed room of a 18th Century Mansion of a Duke! We spent hours sitting in the drawing room just soaking in the beauty. The walls and ceiling had amazing paintings!

Arriving and leaving from Catania, we stayed at Gattopardo House twice in a 10 day holiday, and both times we really enjoyed our stay. The 19th century building is beautiful and easy to find. One step off from Via Etnea, walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the air conditioner and wi-fi... More

This hostel is located in walking distance of main turist attractions of Catania. The bedroom is big with inside bathroom. No breakfast is offer, but it was clear for us at the moment of booking. The stuff was very friendly.

We were due to fly out from Catania early on the following morning, so we had decided to stay the night in the city (we had been on vacation near Ribera). We had made a reservation at Gattopardo House and we took a taxi from the car rental return at the airport. We arrived in Via Minoriti and were greeted... More

The location is in city center. The rooms is very spacious and very clean. We (group of 5) stayed here into 2 rooms (1 triple and 1 double). The rooms are equipped with A/C, tv and wifi internet. The private bathrooms was outside the rooms, but that was no inconvenience to us. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If... More

We stayed in a double room in II Gattopardo House with classic furnishing. The room can actually accommodate 3 guests as there was 1 double and 1 single bed. The B&B is located within 5 mins walk from a bus station with links to airport (#457) and train station (#448). Pro's: room was very spacious, had a small standing balcony... More

This place is called a hostel, but I have never experienced a hostel looking like this! They have however several ensuite rooms (which we booked) which puts the standard up to a hotel. As we were there during low season and almost no other guests, the owner very nicely upgraded us to a superior room. The building is an historic... More

We stayed one night in Hostel Rooms Catania. Booking online on the same morning was easy enough. The hotel (calling it "hostel" seems rather inappropriate) is located in the city centre, parking lots were nearby and not too expensive. The service staff was friendly and helpful and told us about the story of this beautiful (at least from the inside)... More

This Palazzo calling Hostel is an understatement, you will see. My room was the bedroom of a baroness and a little bit of that feeling came over me tonight . The reception gave me a lot of really interesting informations for example to choose the best Etna- tour. This location is the best strategic place for discovering the touristic highlights... More
