Stayed there for 3 nights and it is a great base to explore sicily's east coast. It is not in the city centre which makes it easy to find free parking nearby and it is located in a quite new part of town, which prevents to see all the decaying buildings you would find in the city centre... The hotel,... More

We stayed at the Aga as a couple in the last week of June 2014. We unfortunately both had stomach upsets for the week (Not related to Aga) so spent more time than we really wanted at the hotel. I am basing this review on the price we paid which was £48 per night as part of an Easyjet package... More

Clean room with view and sea breeze view. Convenient to the airport, with a large open lobby. We had no problem with road noise or any issues with the room. Clean bathroom with plenty of space. The breakfast was on the rooftop and had a wonderful selection of juices, fresh fruit, eggs and breakfast meats, and yogurts. Enjoyed relaxing on... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in May, to be nearer the airport for our return home. The hotel has absolutely nothing going for it; it does not have 4 star services, though it is clean and tidy. Our room overlooked the huge air conditioning plant at the back, noisy as well as ugly and a car... More

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and paid extra money for a sea view room but we were very disappointed with what we got. The view was not much to speak of, there were no nice beaches or anything to walk along, instead there was the equivalent to the M3 in between the hotel and the litter-strewn lava cliffs... More

My partner and I stayed at the AGA hotel for 4 nights from the 11th of May. I had originally chosen this hotel as it had the spa and a sea view room which was at a good price. On arrival, we were driving, we found it very difficult to at first locate the entrance to the hotel car park.... More

Myself and a female friend stayed here for a week in April. We had originally planned to book a hotel in the centre near Via Etnea but opted for the Aga as it was good value and overlooked the sea. We found it to be a good base with bars and cafés within easy walking distance. The Pepe Nero restaurant... More

Very misleading pictureson their website..we were expecting a 4 star hotel...a real one! the location was awful! nothing around; they dont even have their own restaurant; having said that the restaurant next door was lovely and was bringing a bit of life in the area. We had to change our room when we got there as it smelt of smoke,... More

The hotel is located not in the city centre, but the location is ok. Rooms are clean, but not like on the pictures. In the real life it is much more simple. The breakfast is on the roof garden with wonderful seaview. What we didn't like: We had often problem with WIFI Breakfast is every morning the same - und... More

This hotel is absolutely affordable and the services are satisfying. The room was nice, the breakfast was ok. I stayed there during a business trip but if I were a tourist in Sicily, I would rather choose another hotel 'cause Catania is definitely not the nicest town in the region.
