Myself and a female friend stayed here for a week in April. We had originally planned to book a hotel in the centre near Via Etnea but opted for the Aga as it was good value and overlooked the sea. We found it to be a good base with bars and cafés within easy walking distance. The Pepe Nero restaurant... More

Very misleading pictureson their website..we were expecting a 4 star hotel...a real one! the location was awful! nothing around; they dont even have their own restaurant; having said that the restaurant next door was lovely and was bringing a bit of life in the area. We had to change our room when we got there as it smelt of smoke,... More

The hotel is located not in the city centre, but the location is ok. Rooms are clean, but not like on the pictures. In the real life it is much more simple. The breakfast is on the roof garden with wonderful seaview. What we didn't like: We had often problem with WIFI Breakfast is every morning the same - und... More

This hotel is absolutely affordable and the services are satisfying. The room was nice, the breakfast was ok. I stayed there during a business trip but if I were a tourist in Sicily, I would rather choose another hotel 'cause Catania is definitely not the nicest town in the region.

We thought this hotel was fantastically good value. The service was super including the coffee lounge and the facilities were top notch. The restaurant next door is super. We only stayed for one night but would happily have stayed for more. We chose Aga because it has its own car park, it is only 15 minutes from the airport and... More

Rooms were very large, clean and modern. Very good restaurant with a nice atmosphere which seemed popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Friendly, helpful staff. Free wifi - you had to ask for a new password daily. Lock up garage. Large supermarket, pharmacy and a Luna park nearby - so very convenient. Breakfast on the rooftop... More

An unexpected stay in Catina, due to early flight schedule brought me to Aga Hotel. The single night stay was wonderful. Early check-in was offered with the room clean, spacious and affording an updated and modern bath. A very early cab ride to the airport caused a carry-on bag to be left at the hotel. A call to the front... More

There are receptionists that don't knows the city. Not helpful, not companionable. For exsample, we asked where there is the bus stop to go to Etna. But a receptionist said, " I don't know". It's a city holiday, right? As possible to the receptionist that exist that do not know how to respond. It's very very very distant from center... More

This hotel is well situated with a great sea view or an equally good view of Mt. Etna. The staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were helpful. I had just endured some cold night in a B&B in Naples and this Hotel offered a warm and pleasant alternative. The restaurant, Pepe Nero,... More

We arrived in Catania very late and booked the hotel for one night, before we started traveling in Sicily. We got a very nice room, spacious, comfortable, with a HUGE balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms are not new and modern, but they are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located on a main road, so it's quite... More
