Great value for money. We had a loft style room. The location was perfect inside the old town, with a cheap parking garage within a 3 min walk. The host was really helpful and gave us a map and told us about the city, the sights and where to eat. Breakfast was sufficient and coffee, water and juice was available... More

This wonderful B&B is located in the heart of old Cagliari. Our room was very bright and well decorated. Massive ceilings which made it feel huge! Mikail the host was very helpful and spent 10 mins suggesting restaurants, bars and other places we might like to visit. The highlight of this place though is the roof terrace which has 360... More

We had a great three night stay at Residenza Kastrum, hosted by the lovely Michele, who does a fantastic job making you feel welcome and giving lots of excellent recommendations to get you going around Cagliari. The room (we had the panoramic top floor room) was characterful and very big and had everything we needed, although I think it's fair... More

This B&B is ideally situated to explore the Castello of Cagliari and is still only a 15 min walk to the port. We had the panoramic suite which was very large and spacious with great views. Breakfast on thew rooftop wasa definite highlight and the owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. WOuld definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at Residenza Kastrum twice, and have absolutely loved it both times. -It's in the most beautiful part of the city, Castello. -The rooms are spacey and quaint. -Michele, the man who runs it, is as nice as they come! He is so helpful and welcoming, and really goes out of his way to make sure guests have a... More

My husband and I stayed at this lovely b&b with our 3-year-old at the end of August. I would highly recommend this place. The location could not be any better (right opposite the cathedral in Castello) and Michele was very helpful. The room itself was very simple but cosy and it had all amenities. I would definitely recommend having breakfast... More

Truly enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Location is perfect. Cagliari is a fun city - although it has a rough edge... if you enjoy a little adventure with your travel - this is the city!

Initially extremely difficult to find, we ended up telephoning for directions after several vain attempts driving around town with a map in hand. Happily, help was forthcoming in the form of Michele, who takes care of guests and was the highpoint of our stay in this Residenza. He could not have been more friendly or helpful; always ready to offer... More

We have satyed 2 nights at Residenza Kastrum early April 2013 and have really enjoyed it. The view on Cagliari is great and the warm welcome from Michele is fantastic. The rooms are quiet being remote from the traffic. Most of Cagliari is accesible on foot from Residenza Kastrum ( the Cathedral and the Archelogical Museum are next door).

Residenza Kastrum is on the 5th floor of an old building. The entrance (a mere door) onto Via Nicolo Canelles leads into a dark tomb like entrance. Once you know where you are going, you know to reach out with your hand (before the door closes) to put on the lights which will then light the way to the lift!... More
