We stayed at Mario Cau's appartments for 10 days in sept 2007. I couldn't find review at the time so iI thought i'd add a couple of thoughts. Without going into the Alghero area much (which is stunning), we found the self catering apartments exactly to our needs, ie reasonably cheap, good kitchen faclities, balcony with table and seats, easy...
