Literally arrived back today from a week at the Hotel Oasis and what a lovely week we have had. Our 'party' consisted of me, my husband and our 3 year old daughter. My daughter and I booked an Oasis Apartment for a week in June through Holiday Options who where excellent. The apartments are well run, spacious and clean but fairly basic, mattresses very unforgiving and breeze block construction meant neighbour noise was inescapable though no noise from the street. Stayed 3 nights at the Oasis hotel which is a good base to visit Alghero town although it's a little too far to walk regularly so find out about buses which run every 30 mins and are cheap. Just returned from a week long holiday at this hotel. We have a one year old daughter, so therefore did alot of research beforehand especially on trip advisor! The hotel rooms are dated as the reviews point out, however they are fairly spacious and spotlessly clean (cleaned on daily basis, fresh towels etc). Spotless clean complex, geared to families. Great pools, 1 large and 1 baby pool for each block of accomodation. Nice pizzeria on site but only open at lunch time, pool bar OK a little pricey but same as rest of Sardinia. Nice beach just across the road with lovely sand a great clear water.
