My husband and I stayed in this hotel for two nights in July and loved it. We reserved rather last minute and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel itself has seen better days, but we found it to be clean and pleasant. We were unable to check in early (we arrived at 8 am), but were able to leave... more

We found this hotel in Lonely planet and booked it last minute. The location is ideal, a quick walk to the waterfront and old town and a small parking garage was available for our car for 7 euro. The hotel itself, however, is in dire need of an upgrade. The once grand lobby is decorated in tacky paintings, dusty chandeliers... more

Compared to the offer (room and service), the hotel is overpriced. The building is old, and we found broken desk (didn't open properly) and broken shower holder (couldn't hang it on the wall). They seriously need some reform in the building. The only attraction here is the location. The breakfast was alright, bed was made with clean sheets. NOTE: "fitness... more

although the hotel is in a great location, the hotel is quite worn out. We were told there was AC. However, the AC shorted out the circuit in the room 5 times during the night. We had to climb up on a chair to fix the circuit breaker all night. The staff seemed quite fed up. We had to spend... more

For backpackers this place would be a step up from an hostel. But for a family with 2 kids that likes to travel comfortably but not outrageously, this place did not make the grade. We had two rooms. One room was OK. The other room reeked of sewage - so badly that my wife and one of my sons could... more

My partner and I stayed for two nights in september 2008 and there were a multitude of problems. Firstly they got our booking wrong (we had booked, left a VISA deposit and had been given written confirmation the day before) but when we arrived they had not entered the info and there were no rooms....They fixed this by transferring some poor... more

I thought this hotel was fine, having stayed there for a couple of nights in August. The location is great - in the old town. It's a bit of a walk to the main Lido, but there is a lot to see in the old town, although it can be a bit of a ghost town during the day! The... more

I had read some bad reviews on this hotel so wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say, i was quite impressed with the whole package. The hotel was clean, our room was made up each day, the staff on reception were helpful and the location of the hotel is fab! The breakfast is basic and always the same... more

I arrived for a week long stay from the end of December 2007 to Jan 2008. I arrived to the hotel around 11:00 PM on a Sunday. I got the room right away no troubles at all. The room was very clean. My room had a mini-frig in it, and a TV with a few Italian channels. The bathroom was... more
