la margherita is situated central to all your needs, the old town, and harbour, restaurants, shops, supermarket across the road, came in very handy, there,s sightseeing and beach all a few minutes walk away from this hotel. The hotel was on a main road,so was a bit noisy,at times, breakfast was basic, but nice, that was on the roof terrace every morning 7.30am to 10am,beautiful panoramic views of alghero,wi-fi was a... My problems were the bed as hard as hardboard with a room on possibly the noisiest road in the town. the location is very good but I can honestly say that a sleepless night does not make up for the location. The sound of motorbikes roaring up and down the street and the dustcart arriving at 6am just outside the... More

This is a 3 star hotel and I cannot fault the quality of the rooms or the breakfast both being good and the publicised pool and sauna are there even if the water in the pool could be warmer and the sauna hotter. The only real issue I had was about the free wi-fi being really bad and disconnecting continuously not... The hotel have a perfect situation at the old town, wifi working very good but the room and the roof top terace need a big renovation. We stayed a room with balcony/ seaview was good. Breakfast is good enough for us, coffee, tea, cereals and fresh fruits what we need.

Fantastic location with great friendly staff, I was initially disheartened by the room but being honest we spent most of the time exploring the wonderful city, hiring bikes, walking the old town and experiencing the culture. I decided to book this hotel as it had an indoor pool - very relaxing after cycling all day. The pool was small but... More

We stayed for 1 night - the last during our trip - and this hotel was the most expensive and poorest of the 4 we stayed at during our holiday. Our room was very small but had a nice view to the sea, but the balcony was very small and the flowers totally dead. Rather no flowers than this sad... More
