Carlos V isa real mixed bag. First the good things. The location is good with a reasonable stroll into town and some great views over the sea. Staff are friendly and the attention and quality we got at an evening meal in the dining room was excellent - a really good traditional meal while we watched the sun set. The waiter spent a good deal of time translating every item on the menu. The pool is very large and in a nice position. The not so good includes a very slow lunchtime service with limited menu, the beach is a taxi or bus ride away and some of the rooms are quite basic. Our room wasn't cheap but was well below the standard we would expect for the price. So, some good points and bad points. I am sure you will have a good stay at the hotel, but might just question the value. Having said all that, please sample their dinner with a view.
