“Amazing sea view!”

The great thing about this place is of course its spectacular location, right near to the beach and sea. We stayed here at the very start of the season - the hotel had only opened the day before we arrived. It was pretty quiet, although there was a coach tour staying. The Hotel Calabona is not a chain hotel but authentically Sardinian in character with a sense of a family run place about it - which apparently it is. “Great value - solid hotel in Alghero”

We were very pleased. Alex at the front desk is quite sincere, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location is excellent. Everything works well and the value proposition is excellent. Internet works well, which isn't that common in Sardinia at many hotels. The rooms are clean. Coming through the front entrance is much better than the back entrance

“Peaceful & Clean”

Really nice attentive staff and waiters especially very friendly and a good laugh, If you're looking for a nice, clean peaceful hotel with good pool then this could be for you, the breakfast views are unbelievable. And the walk down to the harbour is long enough to walk off all that pasta!
