From the moment we arrived the host, Claudio, made me and my friend feel very welcome. He was extremely helpful and kind. There was a delicious bottle of wine waiting for us in the bedroom, and a fabulous chocolate banana cake sending gorgeous aromas through the house another evening! I felt completely at home in Calciufetta. The breakfast was perfect,... More

I was just four nights in Alghero, and I found this B&B very good. Relatively close to old town and coast. Host is a nice and friendly guy generously proposed a bottle of wine providing a taste of marvelous Island of Sardinia. May be I choose this property again if I come to Alghero next time.

Claudio, the host, was an excellent communicator. He emailed before out trip and offered to meet us from the bus stop in town when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. He even adds his own personal touch to the B&B by, very generously, offering a bottle of wine on our first night and even making home made cheesecake... More

Stayed here for 4 nights thinking to get breakfast some good nights of rest. The host is a really nice guy, even baked a came, but probably not really a b&b owner type. Take it as a bed no breakfast and you're ok. It's a fair walk to old the old town and it's pretty noisy. I wouldn't go back... More

We stayd there for 8 days in November. Very clean, friendly atmosphere, 10 min walk to the Old City. Breakfast could be better. (You are allowed to use the kitchen, you can always buy fresh bread and delicious sardinian pecorino cheese in local supermarket). I stayed here 6 nights with the occasion of going to a friend's wedding. It was the best choice, half an hour from the airport, 20 minutes from city center and the beach. The room was cleaned every day, the breakfast with lots of choices and also a nice touch from the host we received homemade cakes almost every day.... More

We visited Alghero in the beginning of March 2012. We stayed 10 days in b & b Calciufetta and are very satisfied with this accommodation. The b & b is within walking distance of the old city center of Alghero and is in a nice apartment building. The room where we slept was spacious and air conditioned, TV, ample closet... More
