We just came back from our vacation in Alghero and from this very lovely accomodation. We recommend this accomodation to all of you who want to just relax and enjoy your stay. Host Mario was very nice and very helpful. He welcomed us first day and showed us everything in the room and told us all the informations that we... More

We agree completely with other reviewers who say that Mario the owner is terrific. He is very welcoming and gives you a first class intro about where to eat, shop, hire bikes etc. The Abba de Mar is very well located for the old town, the harbour and restaurants. We stayed for four nights and our towels, linen and fridge... More

Let's say your aunt has a house in a summer resort, she will be away for a week in July and she invites you to do some house sitting. When you will arrive you will probably find the house full with everything you need: food, snacks, fruits, juices, milk, wine etc. If it is your first time there, she will... More

This apartment is in the perfect location for strolling into the wonderful old town of Alghero. There is public car parking in the street, one side free the other ticketed but cheap. The owners Mario and Eugenia are immensely helpful on arrival with a familiarisation of the area, they remained friendly, available and helpful throughout our stay. They keep the... More

We picked this place on previous reviews that were spot on. We couldn't stay in the old town as we have a car and there is no parking there. The B&B is within 6 or 7 minutes walk to the old town and has ample parking in the street although it gets a bit busy at times. Our host Mario... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this well located accommodation. We met the owner who showed us round and gave us helpful information on Alghero. He had filled the fridge with everything we could need for breakfast. There was a toaster, kettle and coffee machine and we had breakfast every morning on the balcony. The room and shower room were absolutely spotless and we... More

Abba de Mar is in a fantastic location, easy walk to everything. The room is spacious and has all you will need whils staying in Alghero including Air con that works and a good bathroom. The rooms are well lit by natural light and all rroms have shutters so it blocks out light and any noise for a very good... More

On arrival owner Mario and his wife met us outside the apartment and had saved us a parking spot outside the front door for unloading our luggage - nice touch. They were very friendly and helpful but spoke hardly any English so had to communicate through sign language and google translation on his laptop. The fridge had been filled with... More

Loved this place. All we wanted was a clean and simple room for not a lot of cash in the centre of Alghero. And that is exactly what we got. Met by the charming owner who spoke more English than my Italian but we got by. Lovely big room which was spotless. DIY breakfast served from fridge in room which... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. In your room you have actually two rroms. a room with a double bed and a room with a single bed. you also have a fridge on the room. The owner filled it with drinks, yogert and so on. Just take what you want.
