I've written about Monte Sixeri before, but would like to update after our recent (third) visit. This time we stayed in the Villa Asfodelo, which sleeps six easily and has all the equipment of the other villas -- dishwasher, free wifi, etc. It was impeccably clean, very comfortable and air-conditioned. The Podere is not a budget holiday, but very reasonable... More

Lost in the nature but at the same time very close to many interesting location (Alguero, Stintino, Bosa, ...) and beautiful beaches, this Agroturismo is a peaceful and relaxing place. The accommodation is not perfect (the kitchen Could be better as well as the noise insolation between the appartements) but the atmosphere is really good with nice pools, very helpfull... More

We stayed at one of the smaller flats (family of 3), near the pool by the main office. It was a lovely setting, fruit trees surrounding the pool, flowering bushes and gorgeous, thoughtful landscaping. Loads of space for our son to run around. The apartment itself was nice, a great little kitchenette (even with a panini maker!), comfy bed, spacious... More

Beautiful, all facilities you expect, charming and best view from up the hill over area and ocean. Great location if you have (young) children with suitable high class rooms / cottages for your family. Lovely pools too. In addition the staff is worth special mentioning. Very professional and very personal at the same time. They go to great lengths to... More

Had a wonderful relaxing time. We were attracted to Sardinia because of the beautiful beaches, we were not disappointed. The beaches are all within an easy drive, helped by our hire car having sat nav. The villas in The Borgo, are perfect, the kitchens have everything you need. The swimming pool was very peaceful in the evening with amazing views.... More

The first impression is the reception: the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and professional. Thank you again! The location is perfect: quiet, 15 minutes to Alghero, beaches and places for hiking Parco Porto!), flush in the middle of a beautiful countryside (even the road to Alghero is lined with oleander bushes, eucalyptus and pine trees). From the borgo up... More

Beautiful location near Alghero airport, city and the beach. We stayed in a 1 bedroom appartment on the top of the hill (the borgo). The appartment was small but has everything you need, even a washing machine and fast free wifi. There were some minor issues, like a broken faucet of the bidet and a broken lid of a garbage... We had a wonderful experience when we stayed in the Monte Sixeri for a week in late September. We had already spent a few nights in Alghero town and had only planned stay a few of nights in the Monte Sixeri before moving on. We ended up staying for the rest of our trip as we discoved it was such... More

Very nice residenza in the nice and wild northwest of Sardegna. Monte Sixeri gives you the feeling that this is not just about making money but having built a place you really feel at home. Lots of space, more than one pool, calm and yet friendly and at ease. Great with kids. About 10 - 15 minutes to the beach... More

we had a fantastic time. absolutely perfect location - 10 mins drive from the airport, 10 from the most beautiful beaches, 15 from alghero, and 5 mins (max) from the local supermarket. the house (one of the 'country residences') was simple, but spotless, comfortable, and very well-equipped (plus safe for toddlers). the facilities were very good - the pool clean...
