An average hotel located in Taranto in south of Italy. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown so that can be nice if you dont like to walk to get to downtown. A problem we had was parking, as it can be crowded in that area. Breakfast was average, rooms were great as we got "suite-like" rooms with... More

Hotel Europa in Taranto is the hotel where we could relax and feel happy. Our room on the 4th floor nr 409 was as perfect as we wanted, a two-storey room with most fantastic seaview on both seas of the city, with large balcony on the southern side making possible to sunbathe indoors. There is a small kitchenette in the... More

This hotel was ideal as a stop on a longer journey. It is a little out of the way, in that it is the farthest point you can reach before crossing the bridge and then heading west out of Taranto. However, it is within easy walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. When booking ask for a high floor... More

Hotel quite good. Bad restaurant, orecchiette with tomato sauce (one of the worst ever tasted) and one dry steak selled as a entrecote...ask for a salad and they didn't have it. Better go somewhere else...many places around the hotel where you can eat better and spend less money.

This hotel is quite old. From the 1930, should one believe pictures on the wall here and there. It has been renovated, and appears quite modern. There are a few peculiarities, however. The elevator is said to be able to carry 4, but they must be very good friends! The entrance to the elevator is only 55 cm wide, so... More

Nice hotel, optimally situated near shopping. You can find a parking spot right below your window facing the canal. Very friendly and efficient staff. Now for the negatives...your room is a loft and your bathroom and bed are upstairs. The stairs are more ladder than they are stairs. Bed was very good which is rare in Italy. There weren't too... I was given a first floor room with a view across the harbour. The window was from floor to about 1 metre - great view if you lie on the floor or are under six years old! Other than the view the room was perfectly acceptable. I was travelling by bike and the hotel allowed me to store the bilke... More

I had a chance to stay just one night in this hotel and I must say that it was a really nice experience; My room was more a duplex apartment than a regular room, with a two-story arrangent and a small kitchen. The balcony faced the inner bay with a magnificent look of the Aragonese Castle. Breakfast is not so... More

This hotel is right near the seaside in Taranto, Italy. It's a nice location. Service was good. My room had a loft bedroom (which I don't particularly like, but others may not mind), with a nice living room area downstairs and more than functional small kitchen. Internet worked well. The light switches were a bit weird and the outlets were... More

A thoroughly lovely hotel. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, and we were made to feel most welcome. Excllent rooms, good food, lovely views across the inland sea. I would always come back here if I were ever to visit Taranto again, and would recommend it to all of my friends and colleagues.
