Stayed for a brief stop at Hotel L'Arcangelo recently with my wife. Staff couldn't have been more helpful (special thanks to Katya for all of her assistance on check in and during our stay). the hotel itself is fab, and the rooms are really lovely. As far as value for money is concerned, it'd be hard to beat for the... More

We stayed at Hotel L'Arcangelo for 9 nights. It is a charming hotel in the Old Town. The area is full of character although unfortunately has been left to deteriorate which is a shame but still a great place. The hotel is situated in Piazza Fontana, right by the sea and surrounded with excellent fish restaurants. It is near the... More

Normally we don't book a 3 star hotel, but here we did because it had good reviews. And indeed, the hotel is certainly worth 4 stars. The staff is very friendly and speak english and will give you all the information you need. You can rent a secure private parking place at the other side of the hotel at 5... More

This was a lovely place to stay, with a good room, good breakfast, a place to park and walkable to the Museo Nazionale. There are good restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful and communicated well.

The location of the hotel is at the end of the old town - approximately 2 kilometers from the new city center. You can park just in the front of the hotel. The surrounding of hotel might be a little bit scary in the dark, but most probably it is safe. The major part of Taranto's old town is not... More

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, and it will be difficult to come back to Taranto without coming here. The hotel is located on the western tip of the small island which constitutes the Old City and, despite its dilapidated aspect, this is by far the nicest area of Taranto. Concerning the hotel itself, the building has been... More

The staff on our arrival was extremely helpful and sweet. The two women (one was the owner) couldn't let us go until they had planned our afternoon . We enjoyed it so much we spent an extra day. Because it is in the old city, all the good stuff (cathedral, fortress, great restaurants etc.) were within walking distance. The room... More

I was charged 71 euro for a small bag of laundry here. The price seemed exaggerated to me, so I made my remarks at the reception. I was then offered a discount of 50%. I appreciated the effort, even though, honestly, 35,5 Euros is still too much for washing couple of T-shirts, socks and underwear, especially according to the common... More

When we checked in we were given the top floor (3rd) by ourselves with 2 terraces. The hotel is very nicely maintained with a new elevator, tasteful lobby and breakfast area. Room was quite comfortable with a modern well appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. The Breakfast includes not less than 10 types of pastries as well as yogurt and sliced... More

We were keen to see the old part of Taranto as it had been, at one time, the capital of Magna Graecia. At the present time however, the old city center is quite worn around the edges and feels like it is in hibernation. There is some great architecture here and charming small side streets. This hotel was a perfect... More
