This is a lovely place, run by a lovely family BUT our room was a real problem in that it is in a converted part of the building which means that there are no windows, other than a tiny rooflight in the ceiling which doesn't open. We have just returned from three lovely days at Masseria Salamina. The family who own it are delightful. The bedrooms are nothing special but were perfectly adequate and nice and cool in the heat of the southern Italian sun. Breakfast and evening meals served in the airy courtyard were delicious. This Agriturismo is an excellent place to stay if you want peace and quiet with a great pool, friendly people and do not want all the hotel trappings.
