Beautiful hotel, in a quiet location. Amazing food, fabulous helpful staff, richly furnished surrounded by olive groves, gorgeous pool and jacuzzi, beautiful spa, comfy beds and gorgeous bedding, immaculately clean, well tended gardens.

We have been raving about our northern Italy retreat, Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano, we just found our southern one. A conference brought us to Puglia and we just found this place: a former agricultural operation, based on a remodeled fortified tower (on the Roman villa model) once owned by the knights of Malta, this secluded estate is hidden among... Gorgeous grounds, beautiful rooms and a delightfully helpful staff. A large working farm in a peaceful setting on the sea. Everything about this hotel is five star. We had a wonderful light dinner on the bar patio with an exciting view and attentive service.

My husband and I needed a break away from work and just civilisation as a whole and this hotel provided a peaceful and relaxing environment in pure luxury. The hotel is exceptionally spotless, our room was outstanding and staff very attentive. We found the four courses at evening meal too much to consume so we often had two courses; we... More

We stayed here for a week whilst touring the beautiful area of Apulia. Secluded behind acres of olive groves and vineyards the Masseria has been beautifully restored, the grounds are immaculate with a fantastic outdoor seawater pool. We had a suite on the first floor of the original Masseria which was wonderful; both spacious (we had 2 double bathrooms) and... More

We loved San Domenico. We had a Garden Suite, which was lovely, and had dinner 1 night in the hotel--first rate. we liked the hotel so much that we spent a day relaxing there, instead of the planned touring. It is certainly expensive, but we thought we got good value for our money, and we were there at a time... More

Surrounded by olive trees, pomegranate trees, vines, wild rosemary and thyme, the masseria is simply wonderful. Our room (upgraded to suite upon arrival) was very spacious, two bathrooms and a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The grounds are impeccably kept. The pool area is gorgeous and so is the SPA which we had the chance to enjoy during our staying.... More

One of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in, on par with Sirenuse, cirri anti, etc. The grounds are magnificent, and the pool area in particular was simply stunning. It is a seawater pool which adds to the charm and experience with adjacent hot tub. The food we had was certainly not the best of our two week trip,... More

We booked a golf package at the Masseria for three nights/two rounds for two, which was good value even before we were kindly upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. We had a super trip and San Domenico management gets a lot of the credit. Thank you. I have rarely encountered such helpful, courteous, and professional staff anywhere, they made... More

We stayed at one of the seaside rooms of this wonderful Masseria near the town of Salvalettri for five nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel has artificial grass tennis courts so I was able to take a couple of lessons with their tennis pro, which were quite fun and challenging given the heat of August. Their pool is larger...
