Beautiful hotel on average Some positives: -The hotel is located in a central place where you can walk into town -It includes free Wifi -If you have the balcony room the view is beautiful -The staff is amazing and extremely helpful Some things to note/ could be negative; -The hotel is quite old and it shows -The rooms are clean but still you see they are quite old -The price compared to the hotel isn’t really worth it but if its high season I might Understand . -Most of the staff can not speak English hence its difficult to communicate what you need.We used “google translate” mostly. -No safe / secure place to keep important documents ie passport when going around the city. -The breakfast is monotonous. You choose among The exact same items everyday and they bring it up in your room,no place to sit /restaurant for breakfast.…

A no refund policy at its most annoying: We reserved a room for one night at this hotel, so that we could continue in the morning to our next station, Ostuni. Unfortunately, our Italian train was delayed, twice, and we arrived late in Milano, missing our connection to Bari. We immediately contacted the hotel, and informed we had to cancel. We were told to contact Booking.com. We did and were referred back to the hotel. We wrote to the hotel, asking for a refund, and were refused, and told to contact the train company. I must say, this was entirely not our fault, but even if the hotel has a policy, a little consideration would have gone a long way, but none was forthcoming from City Hotel, or Booking.com. Of course we will pursue this matter with the train company, but the bitter taste remains.…

The hotel is located in downtown Bari Most of the rooms are extremely tiny, if you're room is facing the street, specially if you have a light sleep), you could be disturbed by the noise in the morning and also may hear people outside your room. The relatively small breakfast is served as a room service, at the time you order it, but that can be the reason some people complained about ants in the room The price was relatively cheap, my feeling was I didn't receive what I payed for.

A very basic and convenient option in downtown Bari, no frills but does the trick. The hotel has 4 floors, I had my room on the upper floor. It was facing the inner yard, so no noise at all. The room was small but very clean, I consider it to be ok for a night or two. The bed was good and there were two large pillows. The gentleman at the reception spoke very good English and was friendly. The breakfast was served under COVID-19 protocol, as a room service, with a menu card to fill in at the reception. It was served on time and I was happy with the quality of it (btw., it included into the overnight stay price). The area around hotel is ok, there's a university literally next block, a nice shop with regional products a few steps towards the centre. The hotel is a walking distance to the old town and it's about 6 minutes to the Bari Central Railway Station. The only thing I would change - soundproof of the door to the corridor could have been better.…

Hotel is in a good location for the train station, old town and ferry. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff helped with restaurant recommendations on check in. Room would have been small if the stay had been longer than one night, but fitted my needs.

Good hotel located quite close to the Bari Centrale train station. It's easy to get here from the train station in 15 minutes. You are in the center at 15 - 20 minutes from the sea and the historic area with the church of San Nicola. Decent two-star hotel, sweet but quality breakfast, very good coffee. Wifi good. The price is very good considering that it is located very well.

Well-appointed, very conveniently located if being near the train station is important. (The train station is a long walk from the old town!). One of the best breakfasts we had during our two-week bike tour of Puglia. The night desk clerk spoke good English and was very helpful in making restaurant recommendations. Excellent value.

in a perfect location, it is a ten minute walk to the fabulous Old City, and close to the train station, for day trips to Matera, Grotto de Castellana, Ostuni and more. Excellent Patisserie right across the street. The breakfast is extensive, with choices of croissants, fruit, cereal etc and excellent coffee. The desk is manned 24 hours , a real plus. My first stop on my trip to Italy, a good one. It is old world in design and decor, but has a good bathroom -all in all was a good choice.
