We had a wonderful stay here. The host, Domenico, couldn't have been more gracious. This applies to the staff, too. Angela is a great chef. Breakfast is much better than breakfasts at other hotels. It's not just a place to stay. You interact and develop close relationships with the other guests, mostly Europeans, some with children. It feels like family.... More

Domenico and his family are fantastic characters and great hosts. We stayed in the original homestead, which the rooms (like Domenico!) are full of character and years worth of family trinkets. I liked that, but there are other, newer rooms in a separate building which may be more up your alley. I was lucky to spend an afternoon with Angela... More

We were guest for a couple of days and enjoyed it very much. Every aspect of our stay was almost perfect. Breakfast was top. Dinner was typical cucina pugliese and of high quality and biological. The people were warm and very helpful. We did a workshop in making local pasta which was given on high level with a lot of... More

On the advice of friends, we stayed here for a week mid May '14. The setting here is nothing less than gorgeous, among the organic olive, cherry and lemon groves and the vegetable garden. True, there is a busy highway just out front, but you have to listen to hear the traffic, and the back is a quiet oasis of... More

My husband and I started our 10 day trip around Puglia at Seragambetta and by the end, our fondest memories were the 3 days we spent there. The house and grounds are lovely. Exactly the right balance between authentic agriturismo and comfortable b&b. In the evenings we eschewed the local restaurants to have dinner with our fellow guests, not only... More

We have just stayed 3 nights at Serragambeta, on a 3 week tour around Italy. We have stayed in some lovely rooms and eaten gourmet Italian food, but nowhere rivals Serragambeta for its warm hospitality. Dinner, prepared by Angela and Gina using home grown organic produce, is served on long tables in an outdoor courtyard and is washed down with... More

A long weekend was spent in the tranquil, picturesque surroundings of Serragambetta with the bubbly host Domenico helpful, knowledgable about the area and on hand to drop at the train station. The stony room was clean (more like an apartment), well presented with an en-suite and private balcony that looked out over the courtyard. The free bikes allow you to... More

Me and my husband stayed here for four nights after reading the great reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! This place is heavenly and we will definitely be coming back! The rooms are more like mini apartments, rustic but clean, perfect for the setting;the host Dominique bubbly and friendly; the setting is charming with organic farming all around ;swimming pool... Amazing food with the opportunity to learn how to make it. Do not expect fancy silly flourishes with the dinner, just good, wholesome but still beautifully presented food. I had a very spacious room with a writing table, vanity and washroom. The washroom was quite small and it's the shower/toilet in one tiny space kind of deal. But, you can... More

Looking for an off season break in Southern Italy we chose Serragambetta as a base to visit Puglia. Despite unusually cold weather in March we found the area beautiful, with almond and fruit trees in full blossom. Serragambetta is an old farm complex which is in the process of thoughtful and sympathetic redevelopment into an organic agriturismo. The original farmhouse... More
