I had quite a pleasant experience with the Grand Hotel e d'Oriente in Bari. The staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly; my room and the rooms of two colleagues were comfortable, spacious, and clean, though showing some signs of wear; and the location put sightseeing in the old city, concerts, shopping, and dining within a few minutes' walk. more

This hotel is disgusting! The rooms are like something from the 1920's.. I don't think that they have been refurbed since then.... the beds have definately not been changed since then.... very very very old and bathroom horrid.... We didnt have breakfast so no comment. more
