This place was handy for the Central Station and was in walking distance of the historical centre, We had a lovely big room (number 20), but if you are not used to very noisy traffic, including bin collections in the middle of the night (Fri/Sat and Tues/Wed,) like us, you are in for sleepless nights. There is no double glazing... More

+: Close to the railway station. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent Wi-Fi. Our room was a triple room with a balcony which we loved. We shopped at a supermarket 40 meters from the hotel. In the afternoon we had a couple hours of sun at the balcony where we enjoyed cheese, ham, fresh bread, lovely tomatoes and red wine.... More

This is a good place to stay in Bari. It´s in the New Town, near the train station Bari Centrale. Some rooms have air conditioning like ours and in the summer it´s very important because Bari is very hot. To go to the Old Town it takes more or less fifteen minutes walking. The breakfast is ok, but could be... More

We stayed at Pensione Giulia for four nights in December 2013 and enjoyed wonderful hospitality from owner Pascuale, his mother and his staff. Pascuale spoke good English and was always happy to chat and exchange ideas. He was helpful and friendly and gave us good advice of places to eat and visit in and around Bari. Our room was a... We went in not expecting much and were surprised by the great service (everybody from the owner to the cleaning lady) and the spacious, clean room with a superb hand-painted ceiling. The room was a good size (the huge ceiling height made everything appear bigger) with an Italian style balcony. The hotel is located in a beautiful building with two... More

I was in a bit of a bind as I'd been on trains literally all day so I couldn't find a place to stay that would be open after my 11:30 PM-arrival, and then some locals pointed me to this hotel. It was still staffed at 12:30 in the morning and the receptionist was polite and helpful despite my low... More

We're Americans living in Italy, and we've travelled all over the country, so we have a pretty good idea by now of what we should expect when we visit a new Italian city. This hotel was appalling in every way (except the location, which was handy to the train-station). The room decor could be categorized as "1960's flea market" and... More

We stayed here after getting the all day ferry from Dubrovnik, before getting a flight from Bari the next morning. Hotel was easy to find on foot from the port. Good size room, clean and comfortable, light sleepers might be affected by street noise. Breakfast was basic and the coffee was cold but wasn't expecting much. Staff were friendly and... More
