Don't miss this great experience staying in a 800 year old Trullo which has been carefully and lovingly restored by it's owner. Rooms are well done in keeping with the structure and the owner is gracious and helpful. Great breakfast the next day.

We've been for the first time in september 2009 and after walking under the first arch of this fairy tiny village of "trulli" we've been amazed by the wonderful and charming identity of this enchanted place. Every detail is so cute that you have to watch it by yourself to understand tha magic of those little houses. It's not like... More

I knew this place since years and I've seen it growing up, away from over-crowded Salento in the far more beautifull area of Valle d'itria lies this small jewel. The place consist of a tiny village of perfectly restored "trull" fully decorated with beautiful and sometimes crazy piece of vintage forniture. The atmosphere is definitely magic and enchanting The staff... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a road trip around Italy. Difficult to find but we phoned the owner when we were nearly there(lost) and he came out to find us. Once there we were greeted by the very friendly family dogs and shown our Trulli. it was delightful. Basic but had everything we needed. Due to... More

Aquarossa is a charming nest of Trullis set in a beautiful rural location. If you are expecting any mod cons dont go as we felt it was almost a camping experience! If you want to get away from it all on holiday and chill out this is the place for you as there are few distractions. We went with our... More

We stayed at Acqua-Rossa in the end of October 2005. The Trullis are very pretty and the owners laid back and helpful. Sadly when we were there we had heavy rain and unseasonably cold weather. The trullis are not really renovated for such weather so we had leaks in the roof, water on the floor and i found it cold... More

This is a unique & charming place to stay as its a trulli. Its probably quite nice in warmer weather but we went in Feb and its definitely not recommended unless you are hardy. Its not adequately fitted for winter, especially the bathroom which I couldn't use b/c it was sooo cold (we had to move the space heater in... More

We just returned from Italy, including a 5 day stay at Acquarossa. There are 5-6 units at Acquarossa (I saw all but the 6th one - not sure where it is). The two smaller units are quite small with double beds, 78 euros. Our unit had a kitchen eating area - really what you need as it is quite rural,... More
