My husband and I stayed here for one night as part of our Italian tour. We totally loved it here and is a little bit of luxury. It is very unique inside and has many hidden rooms and places to explore. The bedrooms are full of character and very romantic with wooden beams and wooden shutters on the windows. There... more

We stayed for a week at Villa Tacchi and were fortunate to have excellent weather - the previous weeks had been cool and damp and because of its location perhaps 10 miles from Vicenza, I would think boredom could easily set in. We went with Saga - another bugbear for other guests I suspect - as Saga reserve one of... more

Hotel had spacious clean rooms and nice grounds. Only three stories tall so the numerous wedding, anniversary, business gathering or some other groups, using the hotel constantly, played loud music and had big parties while we were trying to sleep. The hotel allowed the parties to spread out in front and back of the hotel, where there was also a... more

this hotel had large rooms and nice grounds. They, unfortunately, had a wedding, anniversary, business gathering or some other group using the hotel constantly. They played loud music and had big parties for people while we were trying to sleep. People were parked all up and down the drive and in the lot. Not a quiet location. We never ate... more

The hotel is in a wonderful historic building surrounded by a nice park. It is a great base to explore the Veneto region by car. The pool wasn't open when we were there, but should be a great thing in the hot months to relax. Breakfast was not exciting, okay for Italian standards. The room was huge and bathroom very... more

This hotel is in a historic building set amidst lovely gardens in the Veneto country side. Our room [a junior suite] was simply huge and our teenage son had a very nice single room. Both rooms were clean and very quiet and peaceful. Food in the restuarant was fresh and enjoyable with a three course menu of the day [with... more

Booked this having seen earlier reviews and had an enjoyable weekend tacked on after a business trip. Good base for visiting Vicenza and Palladian villas in the Colli Berici. Hotel was very smart and good value at weekend when price was lower. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday with Italian friends. The food was very good, not cheap... more

I spent a week here, using it as home base for exploring the villas of Palladio in surrounding towns. As you'll see from attached pix, my room was wonderful--spacious, very nicely furnished, and quiet. (Note: I took these pix before I unpacked, so it looks very tidy.) Parking is free. Highway access is easy but far enough away that there... more

We just returned from a two week Italian vacation (mainly northeastern Italy) and found the Villa Tacchi to be one of our favorite hotels. Unfortunately, just after we arrived there was a torrential downpour which changed over to a gentle rain for the remainder of the night, so we could not enjoy the beautiful pool or grounds. Even so, our... more

Sadly only stayed here for one night. Wonderful experience. We had a lovely room and a delicious evening meal in the restaurant. There was also a good spread for breakfast. We had seen a complaint on a previous review that the staff didn’t speak English. Our waitress only spoke Italian, but it didn’t hinder us as she provided a wonderful... more
