Hotel Cristina is situated in a rather unprepossessing street but is only a very short walk from the old city gate and is a good base for exploring this lovely ancient city. If you are travelling by car, they have private parking which is always a bonus. The decor of this small hotel is somewhat eclectic and quirky but it... More

The hotel was very friendly, and the breakfast was reasonable, with a good choice of cereal and continental meat and cheese etc. However our double room contained two small double beds, with no room for bed side tables, bed side lamps etc, so it felt very cramped. As a family room it would have been excellent value - but we... More

Staying here right now and wanted to compliment this establishment on the excellent hospitality I have received. I speak no Italian but every staff member has greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the hotel itself seems well taken care of. The free breakfast is great with yogurt, fresh fruit,... More

The Hotel Christina is about a three to four block walk from the train station but there are good sidewalks on the way for pulling luggage--and it is close to the old city, with its attractions, restaurants and shopping. There is a small lift and our room was fine as was breakfast. Our main complaint would be that although it... More

Wthin walking distance of the train station and the city center, modern refurbished hotel. Spotless rooms, with free minibar and generous buffet breakfast. But they charge for wifi !? Worth staying at, especially since not many hotels in Vicenza as is !

Vicenza is a small town and there are not many hotels so I was pleased with my choice.I know it has eco credentials but they were not top of my list of priorities. My room was a decent size with a double bed ( pillows a bit lumpy),a sort of deep ,long shelf arrangement with plenty of space for working and... Managed by elderly, kind and motherly ladies. But it is as if time has stopped in the 1990´s. Wifi exists but expensive. Rather poor breakfeast. Close to the railway station and walking distance to city centerOutside a busy street but double windows keeps the rooms silent.

This hotel I wouldn't recommand for a longer periode, but for one (or two overnights like myself), it was ok. The room was small and the facilities basic. The wireless internet costed me rather expensive...and the connection was not always good. Breackfast -served at the groundfloor- was ok. For working conditions it's just ok, because the cost was basic too.

Hotels were rather hard to come by in Vicenza. We got this one for 95 euros per night through vicenzabooking.com. The location was very good, a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and about the same into the main part of town. It was on a bus route, so our front facing room was pretty noisy. The room was... Wonderful Hotel. Confortable, clean and in this period the air conditioning worth the money. Nice people and Vicenza is a great city
