Massico was very helpful with recommending restaurants and maps. Very clean and comfortable beds and linens. Location is perfect. There is noise but this is typical in a city. The bedrooms are off a quite street. We were provide with water, juice, coffee, tea and fruit for our visit. The grocery store is a short walk for breakfast essentials. We... More

This is my second visit to Verona. I'm very happy with my choice of accomodation. We rented apartment on second floor. It's two bedrooms with doublebeds facing via marchetti ( narrow balcony with table, chairs), a living room where I slept in a single bed with tv sofa table and chairs (narrow balconies facing via mazzini) , bathroom with shower... We stayed here for one night so we could see Aida at the Arena. Great location and warm welcome from the owners. Two bedrooms worked out great for,our family and everything was great. clean and comfortable. One block from Arena which was awesome and hosts were responsive with any questions we had. Breakfast provided next morning and was really appreciated.... More

This is part of a series of reviews documenting our trip from Rome to Amsterdam where we stayed at 7 different properties as we traveled through Europe via Verona (Italy), Innsbruck (Austria), Leukerbad (Switzerland), the Black Forest (Germany), Durbuy (Belgium) with Rome and Amsterdam on either end. We experienced the good, the bad and the ugly. La Finestra sull'Arena was... More

A fantastic apartment in the heart of Verona! The suite was perfect for our party of four. Massimo could not have been more thoughtful and accommodating. He went so far as to provide us with a recliner to address my father's health needs. If you're looking for a convenient location, nice beds, a great view, a hot shower, free wi-fi... More

Stayed in the oh so conveniently located apartment for a week at the start of the Opera season. The Arena is only a few steps away, which means no need to line up with the masses during interval to answer calls of nature! Sometimes the sounds of operatic arias drift up from the famous restaurant in the street below, which... More

Just down the street from the Arena and over looking Via Mazzini, a major shopping area. Very large apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and a large living/dining area. Apartment comes with wifi. The bathroom included a washing machine and a hair dryer. The small balconies on both ends of the apartment were fantastic. Absolutely loved them. Camilla and Massimo... Pros: - Location, location, location. The Arena is at the end of the street and the next street along (Via Mazzini) is the main shopping street in Verona - Wonderful hosts. Camilla and Massimo promptly answered all queries that I e-mailed them before our stay. On arrival, they gave us maps, restaurant recommendations and even lent us cushions for the... More

We stayed for five nights at the second floor self-contained apartment. For 100 Euros per night we got 2 double bedrooms, one of which provides access onto the balcony above Vicolo Tre Marchetti, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a huge sitting room with a big dining table, plenty of sofas, a TV and two balconies above Via Mazzini,... It was a pity we had only one night in this nice apartment for 4 persons. It has two small bedrooms with balconies, spacious sitting (dining) room, stoked kitchen. Perfect location for exploring Verona, very quiet, clean and comfortable. It would be nice to stay there for much longer. Massimo and Camilla were very helpful and friendly. Massimo helped us...
