My girlfriend had booked this hotel for our stay and I was not sure what it was going to be like. It had appeared to be quite cheap so we were not expecting much but when we arrived we were really pleased. The reception staff spoke fantastic English and when the man behind the counter showed us our room (appartment?) he was keen for us to look at the huge kitchen downstairs (the only room with such a kitchen). As one previous report has said, there is a small well in the kitchen floor covered over with glass. This dates back hundreds of years as I asked the man in reception. The breakfast is basic but arrives at your door on the dot. The fridge in the kitchen is stocked regularly. The room was comfortable and spotless and the air conditioning was a welcome surprise - just be careful as the staff often turn the temperature up if you leave it switched on!
