We ended up here after the place we had booked refused to stay open after 8.30 pm (it was 8.15 when we rang from the station to say we were waiting for a cab) and they put us on to a hotel that was full, who booked us in here. We ended up staying 3 nights. We had the Junior... more

I'll begin with the good points regarding this hotel . . . location, helpful staff, and good breakfast. The "not so good points" . . . we had a room with a ridiculously SMALL bathroom for four people. The shower was more like getting clean in fits and spurts and the toilet made an extremely LOUD groaning noise when it... more

I stayed at the hotel for one evening, and overall was disappointed with the Trieste Hotel. Good Points: - Location is ideal, as it is a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the arena. The tourist bus also stops outside the hotel. - There is free internet for guests. - Breakfast is standard,... more

We came for one night in August specifically to see Carmen at the opera. This hotel was a short walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the Arena di Verona. Outstanding value and breakfast in a very expensive town. more

Looks more expensive than it really is. I went in to ask for directions and asked about their rates, for curiosity sake and found it was affordable that even included parking, breakfast and internet that we needed. Great location, quality breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. They made a little Australian and German guy's stay very special. Thank you... more

I stayed here with my dad for 2 nights at the end of June 09. We went to see Aida in the Arena, and it was our first time in Italy. You honestly couldnt get any closer to the town centre and all the main attractions, with less than 5mins walk to the Arena. The hotel itself was spotless and... more

Arrived in Verona from Sirmione by bus, the hotel is about 100metres from where we got off. I booked a superior room as it was our honeymoon. Room was tiny to be honest. I found the staff very nice at the front desk, all were very helpful. Breakfast was good also and I'd have no problem in recommending this place.... more

No need to get too carried away about this small hotel, which is just a short stroll to the old part of the city. Clean, reasonably well appointed, the hotel generally lives up to its lower star rating. Room was very clean and pleasant, probably slightly bigger than average. The hotel lets itself down on a few points: no standard... more

We spent 2 nights at this excellent hotel in Verona in July. If arriving by train it’s a straightforward 5 min bus journey from the station. An easy 5 minute walk from the hotel takes you to the buzz of Piazza Bra & the Arena. The reception area is modern, stylish and very welcoming. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished... more

This hotel is an excellent base from which to explore Verona - really easy to find driving into the city, underground car parking, rooms are fine, good aircon, very helpful reception staff, good breakfast and only 5 minutes walk from the Arena. Would definately stay here again. more
