Having read other reviews it seems that Verona House may have a split personality! We booked it knowing it was an apartment and not a hotel. It is in a great location with Castlevecchio at the bottom of the street and within a stones throw of Piazza Bra etc. The apartment was compact and very clean and bathroom spotless. The... More

The location of the hotel is fantastic and is right oposite to the castle ( castelvecchio) and is about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre depends on how fast or slow you walk where the piazza bra is and resturants and cafes are. The hotel was very clean, tidy and comfortable with friendly staff when we got to see them... More

The location is fantastic and could not be bettered - we were able to walk everywhere in Verona very easily. Castelvecchio is literally over the road and Piazza Bra is less than 10 minutes walk away. Despite being so central, the apartments are really quiet - we were there for a week and were never disturbed by any noise either... More

We (couple) stayed here in June 2012 for seven nights. On arrival we were met and given lots of helpful information about the city and things we might like to see and do. We were also given information on the free wifi which was great until we discovered that it could only be used in the reception area (more on... More

We stayed here for a week this Autumn. I'd read the reviews etc., but was still pleasantly surprised at the facilities of our "room". The room itself was actually a bedroom, a bathroom and a dining/kitchen/sitting room - all very roomy, and fully equipped. This was a fantastic bonus as the breakfast in B&B was not on the premises but... More

We were the travellers of two couples who love food and opera. We chose this hotel due to its location ( 3 minutes from the Arena ) and seemingly spacious room. Indeed, they were true. The rooms were very spacious and we had a sitting room with a kitchnet and a bed room. The furnitures looked cheap but functional. There was... More

Three of us(older women) stayed at the Hotel La Residenza Verona House and found it to a clean, spacious apartment, very well-run. We had a problem with our toliet upon check-in and were promptly given another room. Everyone was polite and helpful. The only downside is the breakfast, which is a roll and coffee.

like an apartment -- separate bedroom, plus kitchenette with fold-down table. very attractive and well-appointed, although sofa was old sofa-bed, not comfortable to sit on. great location, across from castel vecchio. parking available. friendly service. internet in lobby.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice homely touch, so it makes a lovely change from commercial chain hotels. Room was more like a small apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom - great if you want to cook some meals yourself (good reason to buy some quality local produce). Aircon worked brilliantly, TV, radio & CD player... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst touring Italy on our honeymoon in 2004. The apartment was large with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette/living area. Our apartment was decorated and furnished in a high quality 1970's style, complete with a table that pulled out from a wall unit! The staff were friendly, and the hotel was convenient for... More
