The apartments are within 5-10 minutes of walk to the downtown and in 2-3 minutes of walk to Castelvecchio and we were very glad to find a small washing machine at the kitchen (as it was the second week of our Italy trip and laundry was a bit of a problem). But the place seems to have really thin walls... More

The view onto the castelvecchio is stunning, especially by night. The rooms are unfortunately in sharp contrast with the view. The rooms are typical faded glory. Everything you touch crumbles under your touch, the fridge won't close, the shower doesn't work, the bathrooms are renovated in the late 70ies I guess. There is no possibility to have breakfast. There was... More

My family of 4 stayed in their one bedroom apartment at the end of July for one night. The property is older and the rooms probably haven't been updated in the last 20 years. That being said, they were tidy and functional. We did not use the kitchen, although there was one in our room. My daughters slept on the... More

This hotel is within easy walk of the arena and town centre. It is an older hotel, a bit tired but still pleasant enough. Good restaurants close by and the hotel was easy to access. We drove there and didn't find it too hard to get parking close by in the streets (all spaces are metered and require payment -... More

We had booke assuming that it was an apartment. It's just a hotel room with a kitchenette. The location is good. It old but clean. The reception is newly decorated and therefore the rooms a somewhat disappointing The staff is wonderful and friendly We liked the place

Having read other reviews it seems that Verona House may have a split personality! We booked it knowing it was an apartment and not a hotel. It is in a great location with Castlevecchio at the bottom of the street and within a stones throw of Piazza Bra etc. The apartment was compact and very clean and bathroom spotless. The... More

The location of the hotel is fantastic and is right oposite to the castle ( castelvecchio) and is about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre depends on how fast or slow you walk where the piazza bra is and resturants and cafes are. The hotel was very clean, tidy and comfortable with friendly staff when we got to see them... More

The location is fantastic and could not be bettered - we were able to walk everywhere in Verona very easily. Castelvecchio is literally over the road and Piazza Bra is less than 10 minutes walk away. Despite being so central, the apartments are really quiet - we were there for a week and were never disturbed by any noise either... More

We (couple) stayed here in June 2012 for seven nights. On arrival we were met and given lots of helpful information about the city and things we might like to see and do. We were also given information on the free wifi which was great until we discovered that it could only be used in the reception area (more on... More

We stayed here for a week this Autumn. I'd read the reviews etc., but was still pleasantly surprised at the facilities of our "room". The room itself was actually a bedroom, a bathroom and a dining/kitchen/sitting room - all very roomy, and fully equipped. This was a fantastic bonus as the breakfast in B&B was not on the premises but... More
