Booked this property through booking.com as residence castelvechio. The central location next to the castle and the available parking being the deciding factor for us. Travelling as a couple and booked a double room (22). I can say the room was clean and the joined single beds were relatively comfortable. However the door rattled every time anyone walked down the... More

Stayed one night. Welcoming and friendly reception staff. For the rate paid, we thought that the Double/Twin room was of poor quality and really in need of some refitting/refurbishing. The location however is very good and easily within walking distance of all notable sights and attractions. Didn't have time to stay for breakfast so can't comment on that.

We were very disappointed with the facilities but it was not expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for! It wasn't advertised as an "apart hotel" so we were surprised to find a kitchen! The bed was hard & needed a new mattress and breakfast was only continental. The location was good and the rest of Verona is... More

Not the most plush of hotels but clean and relatively comfortable. Excellent location with parking, right next to the castle. The hotel is pretty basic but for a family of 4 for 1 night more than adequate and would have been fine for a number of nights. Large apartment, with double bedroom, lounge with sofa beds, kitchenette and large bathroom... More

We stayed for just 1 night and our greeting was friendly and happy. The hotel is only a 20min walk from the train station or a 5min taxi. Location of the hotel is brilliant for all the sites. We found every aspect of the hotel to our liking except for the breakfast range which we found very narrow, however this... More

The only good thing about this Hotel: the location os near to the arena and the old quarter... First they gave us a room in the furthermost corner, one tiny window above the floor, you had to lie down on the floor to look out of it. The kitchenette was ancient and had only 1 cup and 1 glass.... After... More

The city was beautiful especially the hotel’s location… it was amazing – old City location. Next to the hotel there is Palazzo and medieval bridge. The hotel itself was not that great. The beds weren’t comfortable and the room and bathroom were not clean. We only stayed at Castelvecchio Apart hotel for 2 nights so it wasn’t too bad. My... More

Great flexibility and service offered by the staff (boarding cards, very recommendable 'own' taxi service from and to airport and other destinations, and they immediately arranged a bigger room if needed Located next to beautiful Palazzo and medieval bridge, but on a busy road, so maybe better to ask for a room at the back side. Rooms were large when... More

As "Balbec" said, we had the same room (N°21), but one year later... HORRIBLE DIRTY room, no service, really expensive = 150€/Night Broken TV remote, broken mirrors (room & bathroom), broken WC, noisy !!! The bed was bought in the 70th like all stuff in this room... ASHTRAY smelling in all the room... Really nice ! DON'T GO THERE

Don't expect high class hotel, but be sure you're getting incredible old city location for rather medium price. Just few steps away from costy hotels near Arena, but keeping 2-3 times (!) lower price. Friendly staff, private parking (for small size cars though, as it is tiny underground garage), very good breakfast. We were living in studio, which seemed for... More
