We needed a hotel for a one-night stop-over on our drive from central Italy to Germany, and this modern hotel seemed to fit the bill--especially since it offers (limited) garage space right in downtown Verona ... . And the Hotel Europa was a good choice--modern, clean large rooms (and not too noisy since our room did not face the street),... More

Small 3 stars Hotel, in a great Location downtown, just few steps from the Arena di Verona. When we arrived, our booking was not found. Front desk staff not really friendly, correct, but not charming. After a 20 minutes waiting time and a call from the front desk staff to the Manager, our room was finally ready. Big surprise :... Location is excellent, nice people in the reception. Small but cute rooms. Pretty good breakfast as for Italian standards. Bathroom was ok, but one of the smallest I ever seen. You need to be careful to not hurt yourself by just turning around. Bigger persons might have problem in there. Beds are pretty hard and pillows very thin, but for... More

Beds are lumpy with only blankets and bad very flat pillows. It's noisy. View of a dirty internal courtyard. Not cheap. Limited breakfast. Unfriendly staff. Tiny rooms and even tinier bathrooms. Dated property with fluorescent painted walls. Everything you expect from a nightmare hotel in Europe.

We stayed in this hotel with friends for three nights. Rooms are good for a 3 star hotel, beds firm but good, bathrooms clean, fridge in the room which is unusual for Europe. Location is fantastic, breakfast adequate, and a big bonus is on site parking. We stayed in December and found the rooms to be so overheated they were... More

Although this hotel has a great location, that's the only thing going for it. The beds were rock hard, it was like sleeping on a slab of concrete I woke up aching all over. The decor of the rooms was vile, The showers were cold and only one member of staff was polite and friendly, even the complementary breakfast didn't... More

Otherwise I would not recommend staying here. It is a few minutes from Piazza Bra in one direction and 4 blocks from Castelvecchio in the other. The AC worked great in our room, which was very welcome considering how hot it was while in Verona in September. The front desk staff were not really rude, just not hospitable. No smiles,... More

The GPS said no cars allowed but it was ok to drive up to the hotel when we arrived. Staff took care of tba parking in the hotel garage. It was just to go to the rooms and cool of in the ac-air. Several restaurant just outside the hotel, opera arena just a block away and easy walk to all... More

On arrival, desk staff did not bother to offer help with our bags, though the man saw us struggling. He was neither welcoming, nor friendly. When asked for advice about local sites and restaurants, the desk staff member seems put out. Room was very small with weak air conditioning...and the city was hot. Bed and pillow were not comfortable. Breakfast... More

Great location, minutes from the arena and good restaurants. Small comfortable clean room, air conditioning worked very well. Surprisingly quiet and dark rooms for the location, when the shutters are drawn. Expensive on the night of the opera, a difference of €65.00 between the two nights. Breakfast was acceptable, typically Italian. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room,... More
