We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was a great experience. Check-in was easy and the hotel was clean. The front desk staff were there 24/7 to assist with anything including directions around Verona and recommendations for food. The rooms are very modern, with clean wood floors, a desk, and a closet. The nightstands are great on... More

What? Free water in the room fridge? Yes, free bottles of sparkling and natural water in the mini-fridge for guests! Every day! Nice touch, Hotel Armando. Rooms are bigger than average for Europe, the shower is nice and has two shower heads, plus it is huge, big enough for three people. In-room desk is big enough for two people with... More

Quaint hotel convenient to the old city wall and the Arena (Colliseum type structure still in use). Courteous bilingual staff. Nice restaurant and wine bar right next door. Hotel is clean and serves a nice buffet breakfast. 10-15 minute walk for the hop-on hop-off bus and the Arena.

10 minutes by walking to Arena Square in Verona. Small and old building but renovated. They have only 2 floors. Rooms are comfortable compairing the other Verona historical center hotels. The rooms are very clean and well designed. Breakfast is enough good and the staff of the hotel are very friendly. We stay there during Marmomacc Fair and the rate... More

Tucked away in a side road but close to all amenities - five minutes walk to Arena, twenty minutes walk to rail station (for arrival - no need for taxi and also only a twenty min train to Lake Garda - for a great day out!) Staff were friendly and informative, the rooms were clean and the continental breakfast buffet... More

8 of us have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Armando in Verona. The hotel was conveniently located for the Arena. There was a Hop on Hop off bus stop close by and we were only 5 minutes from Juliet's Tomb. Slight minus - We didn't ask for a disabled room but found ourselves in one... More

We are two Australians (Yarra Valley, Victoria) just returned home from Verona (July 30th 2014); we stayed in Hotel Armando. We wish to thank the hotel staff for a most positive experience, and we happily recommend this hotel to other Aussies who may be wondering where to stay in this wonderful city. First impressions start at Reception, where we received... More

Unsure about the Best Western tag, but very pleased with the level of decor and the position of this hotel. Very well furnished with comfortable beds in very modern room, excellent bathroom with walk in shower and quality fittings. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and receptionists helpful with good English.

This hotel was very nice and in a great location. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. The beds and rooms were very clean, however the marble floors in the hallway made it very loud in the morning and you could hear echoing in the hallways from bags rolling and people talking. Worth the price, but wish it... More

I couldn't think of anything negative to say about our stay at the Hotel Armando. Everything was perfect. Location is excellent, a mere few minutes on foot to Verona' most popular sights (Piazza Bra, Arena, Casa di Giulietta). The area where the hotel is located is pleasant and peaceful. Room is modern, spacious, and very clean. The staff are very... More
