My husband and I booked two nights in this hotel from 18 - 20 October 2014. We arrived in the afternoon and checked in and were shown to our room which overlooked an alleyway with a strong fishy smell. It was also a walkthrough so noisy even at 1am when people were walking back to their hotels. The room did... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of December 2014. We got our room through Hotel Marco Polo since we wanted to extend our stay with one night and the Marco Polo was fully booked. The Mastino and the Marco Polo are collaborating and the staff was very helpful with the booking and moving our luggage from the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night only. The hotel is a bit expensive for its class nevertheless is perfect.... lovely rooms, very clean amd the location is really excellent, right in the heart of Verona old town, at thw corner with the Arena. Lovely staff too. The location could not be better. With 18 euro extra we booked... More

This 3 star hotel was very pleasant and the staff very helpful. All rooms had air conditioning/heating and also a mini bar and free wi-fi. Breakfast was also very adequate if you don't mind greasy bacon but then this is Italy! They served a good continental breakfast as well as the bacon and eggs. Many rooms looked as if they... More

We booked Hotel Mastino for our family of five, reserving one of their apartments, which is a 10 minute walk away from the main hotel building. At first, we thought this was a bonus as its a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and a kitchen. But this was not the case. As we were not situated in the main... More

Hotel is clean, room is comfortable, good location. Excellent full breakfast with fruits, eggs, pastries etc, snacks are available in the breakfast room all day long. The shower was updated with new appliances but everything is very small, counter space near the sink almost non existent. If you are a big person you will not be able to get into... More

We only stayed two nights but found the Hotel satisfactory and would have booked again though having read previous reviews, it appears (as do a lot of hotels) to depend on the room you are allocated. We found reception staff friendly. The room was small (as we expected) but adequate for two nights. The bathroom appeared new and had the... More

This is a hotel in the center of the village waking distance to the Opera. The rooms where simple but nice and clean. Service ok Breakfast ok to be in Italy. This is a good alternative if you want to be close to the opera and center of village.

This hotel is simply awful. The rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. The shower barely functions properly - the water pressure was so bad that we could barely wash our hair. Also, disgustingly, there was a constant smell of sewerage emanating from the shower which lingered throughout the entire room unless the bathroom door was shut. We reported this to... More

A very average hotel. With the exception of our bathroom on the first floor which was practically brand new the room was very ordinary - two single beds pushed together to make a queen bed, old furniture, bare flooring in both the room and hallway and thin walls made for a less than comfortable stay. The TV stations available were... More
