This is a hotel in the center of the village waking distance to the Opera. The rooms where simple but nice and clean. Service ok Breakfast ok to be in Italy. This is a good alternative if you want to be close to the opera and center of village.

This hotel is simply awful. The rooms are extremely small and uncomfortable. The shower barely functions properly - the water pressure was so bad that we could barely wash our hair. Also, disgustingly, there was a constant smell of sewerage emanating from the shower which lingered throughout the entire room unless the bathroom door was shut. We reported this to... More

A very average hotel. With the exception of our bathroom on the first floor which was practically brand new the room was very ordinary - two single beds pushed together to make a queen bed, old furniture, bare flooring in both the room and hallway and thin walls made for a less than comfortable stay. The TV stations available were... More

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. No trouble in helping us with information even printing off train times for our trips out. The breakfast was super. Lady in the kitchen making fresh cakes. The waiter at breakfast time was so friendly and helpful. His name was Chinthaka. A big... More

We spent there nights in hotel Mastino, Verona. Hotel is easy to find, situated near the old town gate. Good location gives possibilities to explore the town just by walking. The old arena is very near. The rooms are rather small and average size. If you liike big rooms with space, maybe this is not your choice. The breakfast was... More

I have just returned from a short break in Verona and stayed a the Hotel Mastino. Verona was a beautiful place, and I really enjoyed our break. The Hotel was nice, but the room was small, but clean. We stayed at the front of the hotel, and it was a bit noisy some times, as it was next to a... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Mastino. We appreciated the load/unload space near the door and the helpfulness of the porters at this busy location in Verona. The best feature is the proximity to the Arena and restaurants. However, the rooms were rather small and plain and it was fairly noisy.

We booked this hotel to be in the middle of the old town. That is also what we got. It is a little loud but 3-5 minute walk to the arena, minutes from really good restaurants and wein shops. I would stay here again. The only negative point is the breakfast fight. There are not enough coffee maschines, toasters or... More

My husband and I recently enjoyed a 4 day break in Verona, and we had originally booked into a B&B which turned out to be a smelly, hot and noisy hovel (that's another story) so after trying and failing to get our money back from the B&B we searched for somewhere suitable - after losing out we didn't want to...
