This hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Verona, although the city is not very big so everything is within walking distance. Located on a quiet and very pretty side street, there is very little noise from outside. The room itself was a decent size, and very clean and nicely decorated. The only slight problem was the bathroom, which... More

Great service in an excellent hotel. Very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. My room was spacious (by european standards) and the bathroom was very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, just around the corner from the house of Julia (Romeo's friend :-)) It is easily reachable by foot from the train station, in about 25 minutes.... More

great hotel for visiting the old town. very pretty rooms, decent size and very friendly staff. breakfast was good, they even had fresh fruit (not all italian hotels can claim the same). They first gave us a disabled room (which means they have special rooms for disabled people) though we decided to change, which they did immediately. good wifi. We... More

Having visited Padua and Treviso we confidently drove into Verona following sat nav directions……we drove into Piazza Erbe, nearly mowing down a large group of tourists then had to admit defeat. Asking in several restaurants only one person knew where the hotel was – when we found it, it was an oasis of calm. So think twice before trying to... More

Just around the corner from Piazza Erbe yet incredibly quiet, we loved this elegant small hotel. We walked from the train station - about 20-30 mins. You don't need a car as everything in the historic centre is walkable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Outside is an ancient well and walk- throughs to the other ancient squares. The... Mazzanti is a tiny street with a picturesque old well between two lovely piazzas (Erbe and dei Signori). It is near the north edge of the heavily touristed area, so it's easy to get away to quieter parts as well as to reach Juliet's house and the madding crowd (if you are so inclined). We ambled there from the train... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a family group and were well looked after throughout.
