Great little hotel centrally located to the center of the historic area. It's about 25 minute walk from the train station. We grabbed a cab because it was raining, which was about 12 Eyros. The hotel staff was friendly. Nice breakfast with coffee and eggs to order.

My son and I had a super few days here. Caterina set us off on our very own walking tour of all the sites - walked for hours each day. Particularly enjoyed the gardens and views from the bridges and many churches of course. The rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was fine. Felt very safe walking in the city area... More

We spent four nights here in October. Riccardo and all the staff were so attentive and helpful to all of our needs, whether it was helping with train timetables when we decided to go to Venice for the day, or booking restaurants for us in the evenings, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was clean, tidy and very... More

Stayed only one night in early October 2013 with a friend. Unfortunately, it was raining, cold and there was a Marathon being held the day we arrived so it took a bit of time (and walking in the rain with luggage) to find a way to get to the hotel but we survived!:-) The staff are so friendly here -... We stayed 2 nights in as double room on level 3. Riccardo was very helpful organising our booking & providing a warm greeting upon our (late) arrival. The room was tastefully decorated with ample furniture & spotlessly clean. Towels were changed every day. It's perfectly located for exploring the old town by foot. The Arena is only a 1 minute... Spent 3 nights here in October - really great welcome and rooms were clean, comfortable and fairly large. Ours had a bath(No 36) which was brilliant after a day walking around the beautiful City of Verona. There is a lift (good as we were on 3rd floor) Breakfast was very good, with excellent scrambled eggs! Staff very helpful with 'what... More

Our third stay at the Torcolo. It is very centrally located down a side alleyway from the Piazza Bra and Arena.Verona attractions are an easy walk and the train station will take approx 20 minutes. Staff are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. We opted for board only so can't comment on the breakfasts but there were tea-making facilities... More
