Compared to hotel prices in the center of Verona, this hotel was perfect with respect to the price and the quality of the rooms. They were clean and air conditioned. Wifi is also provided free. Breakfast is fine with a nice selection. The family who owns this hotel are extremely helpful. We stayed on the upper floors and it was... More

Stayed here for three nights and it was ok, nothing more. Both the room and bathroom was very small but clean. Breakfast was availabale as a cold buffet and again was ok. Staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly.

It was the second year in a row we stayed over at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the personnel friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included, which I again found really good with much to choose from. The hotel is located outside the city center but with car it causes no problem thus there are lots of parking... Comfortable, clean hotel on the outskirts of Verona. Convenient for car drivers with a bus stop for town centre buses a few minutes walk away. No restaurant but a really good bar / pizzeria a short walk. Staff really helpful with travel and general advice and all spoke good English. Great base from which to visit Verona, Lake Garda and... Service: Very attentive reception staff (spoke in English too) Room: Nice, clean and spacious with minimal furnishings. Window can open for fresh air, which for me, is a great bonus. Bed: Mattress and pillows reasonable, good enough for one night stay. Bathroom: Large bathroom with good shower and toiletries. Wi-Fi: Free and good signal in rooms - con: needed to... More

We stayed here before going to Lake Garda. We didn't have breakfast because it was expensive although a continental breakfast is available for a much lower price. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Good Wifi, easy parking. We caught the bus into Verona, which was fine - we bought our tickets from reception for both there... More

This hotel is excellent value for money and very good for business travelers. You can park in the underground structure or in the regular outside parking for free. The rooms are nice and clean. Maybe not charming. You can get to downtown Verona in 15 minutes by car, where you can easily find inexpensive parking. The staff is very professional.

The external look of the hotel isn't quaint or charming, but it was a nice interior. Smallish, but nice room. The desk staff was amusing and friendly. And the older - much older - relatives of the staff were sweet to my wife and me. Very reasonable for the quality. And a quick 15 or 20 minutes to the center... More

Nice hotel but quite far from old town. Very nice breakfasts and the owners were more than helpful. Once we figured out the bus system it worked for us just fine. We were traveling with 6 people and made last minute reservations so were happy to find such a nice place.

We stayed here for one night as a base for Verona and to see the opera. We found it an excellent choice for friendliness and helpfulness of staff, an excellent breakfast and a very convenient bus stop for getting into Verona without your car. We asked for a quiet room and that's what we got. Would definitely recommend Hotel Gardenia... More
