Hotel is located on a busy street about 25 minutes walk from City Centre. The foyer is well presented but the the hotel needs updating. The corridors to the rooms are tired and worn. The room was okay but we found the bed was uncomfortable. Was made up of two single bases with two smaller mattresses with clean sheets and... More

Stayed at this hotel for three nights and really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the facilities of the hotel...really nice roof terrace and easy walking distance to the town centre...all in all a great base to ventue into town and explore..

Having read earlier reviews was not sure what to expect. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel except the bar arrangements. Bedroom was large with a double bed (for a single occupant) Blackout shutter and air conditioning ensured a good nights sleep. Free Wi Fi in room. Shower room was clean and efficient. Breakfasts were ample, but typically continental... More

A perfectly adequate hotel - comfortable rooms, with terrific shower pressure and plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, blackout shutters and aircon that (a) worked and (b) was very quiet (it was 30C+ outside when I was there). Good breakfast with fresh ground coffee made to order - proper expresso machine. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room with the necessary comforts. Located near the bus station which you can take and get to the city center. Nice entrance! There's a nice terrace garden but we didn't spend anytime there. Breakfast and wifi were free and good.

The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast satisfactory. We had a standard room on 2nd floor. The corridors we a bit stale smelling and there were rugs over the worn carpets which concerned me as I felt they may be a trip hazard in case of fire escape etc. Room was very basic and although clean was not particularly... An excellent hotel althought a bit distant from the centre of Verona. It is approximately about 30 minutes from the centre. Helpful reception and very good restaurant supplying not only an excellent buffet breakfast but also good meals in the evening. They also booked some good Wine Tour excursions included with an excellent company Pagus Wine Tours. Room slightly small... More

We booked a standard room for two people (~120$/night) in September of this year. Looking at the positive reviews and the nice photos this Hotel, this definitely seemed to be a pretty good deal. Or maybe .. NOT. - Day number 1 : the second floor & the room with the dead salami carpet smell. When we arrived at night,... More

This is a perfect hotel for a 2 or 3 days stay in Verona. You can easily walk to the old centre. People are friendly and supportive. We were with three persons and had good room, which seemed recently updated. Nice bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was good and above standard.

For over 40 years I have visited my favourite Italian city of Verona at least once every year and have stayed in various hotels from simple to luxurious. Of late I have grown weary of the squeezing to the pips of less wary visitors by the relentless rise in the cost of rooms, particularly in the historic centre, after a... More
