Location far from the city center. Old and pretty sad rooms . Restaurant closed on Sunday and Monday night. That is not the best choice if you want to have an hotel in Verona closed to the Arena. Breakfast is average with a buffet choice. Many things to be improved. Wifi service pretty ok and free.

Thank you for your comment. We have differet room categories, and guest can choose them, anyway we can grant a good standard in all of them. Position, place and point are the 3 "P" to take in consideration when you choose an hotel location. Just go on maps and check it, we can not do anything to improve this element.... More

i booked this hotel for one night on my way to Venice, no one told me I have to pay 15 euro extra to get in their Spa. very very small room, but good for one person, since I did not have much luggage. breakfast is okay. about 15-20 minutes walking to downtown, 25-30 minutes walking to the Arena, hotel... The San Marco Hotel is a lovely hotel to spend a few days at, it is certainly not central to Verona and is more than a short walk outside of the city walls. The hotel is very nice but too far from the city centre for most people to stay. Our room was spacious but was above the entrance to... More

We've spent a wonderful time in Verona thanks to this hotel, access to spa area was included in our offer (which included free upgrade to luxury room with jacuzzi!) - all that helped A LOT after a day of waling in Verona city center. Hotel is a bit outside historic center but reachable by walking, anyway spa relax and rich... More

We stay in this cice Hotel near the center of Verona and to the Fair. Railway station at 10 minutes by taxi. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff and service. Lovely Arena and Piazza delle Erbe in the center of Verona. Recomended.

On a main bus route into the city centre, but a good half an hour's walk. Initial reception was rather frosty and no concern we'd been given a twin instead of a double. However, that rectified the new room was fine. The bathroom however, even though it was a "disabled" room, was lethal. Slippery floor, sloping-floored bath and a shower... More

This hotel was the most disappointing of the four we stayed in during our trip to Italy. Apparently it has two parts, an older and a newer, and we were staying in the older part. It definitely felt like a hotel from the 80s or 90s - no key card access, only a large fob; old and tired bathroom suite,... More

Decent 4 star hotel, little bit far from the city center (arena, etc.) but still walking distance (around 15-20 min). Indoor & outdoor swimming pools are great, I stayed in this place 5 times already.

The hotel is a little way out of town but provides a free coach to and from the opera in the evenings. Alternatively it is a €1.50 bus ride, stop opposite the hotel, or a €7.50 cab ride. The free (for a motorcycle at least) garage was a bonus. The large breakfast room has a hot and cold buffet which... More

As many have noted the hotel is about a 30 minute stroll from the old city center - pleasant enough in fine weather. The good news for opera goers is that the hotel provides free shuttle bus service to and from the opera, with departures every half hour from 7PM to 8:30PM. We experienced a rare rained out performance -... More
