Great hotel for our stay in Verona. 10 mins walk from the sports arena, the focus of our trip. Short taxi ride into Verona, usually 10 euros but did vary. Would probably be half hour walk. Rooms were excellent, with hair dryer, mini fridge & endless towels. Bedding changed every day & staff very helpful in giving advice about local... More

Just arrived back after spending 5 days at the hotel. We had booked a duluxe room which was exactly as pictured on the website. The room was 27m plenty big enough. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with body jets with the addition of a jacuzzi bath lit by green lights which was cool! King size bed clean sheets and... More

The hotel was nice and the room were clean. People were very nice and helpful. If you want to get access to the whirlpool and sauna you have to pay 15 Euro. Food was also good, except the coffe at the morning buffet. The hotel is located outside of verona, from monday until friday there is a bus but at... More

Rooms are nothing special though the bathrooms in a so-called 'deluxe' room are very good. The hotel's location isn't really walking distance from the main sites so factor in a taxi or bus. The breakfast was uninspiring but perfectly acceptable buffet. The wi-if is free but signal strength is variable. There is a bar area off the lobby but better... More

For my second trip in Verona, I chose the San Marco Hotel. Located in a nice, quiet area, very close to a bus stop and about 4-5 bus stops away from the center (Piazza Bra). It's a nice place to stay, nothing special and well suited for those who don't spend their time in the hotel room. The room is... More

We travelled to Verona and stayed at the San Marco for a week in late April 2014. Verona is a very nice town with lots to see and it is within easy reach of Lake Garda and Venice. It was quite easy to reach the San Marco hotel from the airport. There is an airport bus into town which stops... More

Location far from the city center. Old and pretty sad rooms . Restaurant closed on Sunday and Monday night. That is not the best choice if you want to have an hotel in Verona closed to the Arena. Breakfast is average with a buffet choice. Many things to be improved. Wifi service pretty ok and free.

Thank you for your comment. We have differet room categories, and guest can choose them, anyway we can grant a good standard in all of them. Position, place and point are the 3 "P" to take in consideration when you choose an hotel location. Just go on maps and check it, we can not do anything to improve this element.... More

The San Marco Hotel is a lovely hotel to spend a few days at, it is certainly not central to Verona and is more than a short walk outside of the city walls. The hotel is very nice but too far from the city centre for most people to stay. Our room was spacious but was above the entrance to... More

We've spent a wonderful time in Verona thanks to this hotel, access to spa area was included in our offer (which included free upgrade to luxury room with jacuzzi!) - all that helped A LOT after a day of waling in Verona city center. Hotel is a bit outside historic center but reachable by walking, anyway spa relax and rich... More
