4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We spent three nights here and would love to go back. The location is wonderful as it's off a big shopping street but close to all the sights. We booked a suite and it turned out to have a terrace with large sofas so a good place to seat and read. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave... More

We spent 2 nights in the Hotel Accademia while in Florence to see "Aida" at the amphitheater. Good hotel, well kept and attentive staff. We only ate once and that was a pre Opera supper which was a very acceptable standard. The Hotel is a competent 4 star in a very convenient location . It was a bit of a... More

Overall a very pleasant 2-day stay at this hotel. It's located bang in the middle of town, bit difficult to get to by car, but worth the hassle. We had a suite, which was located on the third floor. Very nice room, clean bathroom, shower + bath. All in perfect order. Good breakfast, lots of choice. And free wifi :)

Here for 4 nights, primarily as a 'big' birthday opera treat booked by my partner. This hotel has been excellent, not least because of the unfailing courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Buffet breakfasts excellent, and run until 10.30, which is handy if you've been at the opera until after 1. Rooms are big, and the ones on first floor... More

We loved the Accademia hotel, which is right in the centre of beautiful, historic Verona. The rooms were beautiful and both of us had a little terrace garden, a haven of cool tranquillity after a long day sightseeing in the heat. They also offered free in-room WiFi, an added bonus. Breakfast was excellent and the conciergerie and all the staff... More

This is an excellent, value for money 4-star hotel in the heart of Verona's Hisorical Centre. Only steps away from via Mazzini the main shopping street, this hotel is in a great location. The rooms are big and spacious and the staff are exceptional. My husband was quite sick whilst we were here and they handled it so professionally, securing... More

3 day stay for our silver wedding and trip to opera. Old fashioned hotel with lot of character . Ideally placed close to the centre and the arena. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good as was the pre-opera buffet. Room very clean and regularly maintained-I like it when the bed is turned down in the evening! Would... More

Attended a conference in Verona, Hotel Accademia was very comfortable, quiet and the staff was extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. My flight was delayed 24 hours and they modified my reservation without penalty with no questions asked on the day I was scheduled to arrive. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed one night with friends in the hotel which I think is absolutely great-the location is very close to all sights, the room is big and comfortable with a tea/coffee facilities, choice of pillows. The only thing I missed is a hair conditioner as I did not take mine for a short stay and was in need of... More

Centrally located to everything in Verona - but very quiet in the room. Suite was charming and very comfortable. The staff were most accommodating and had time to talk to visitors. Bar staff were attentive and bar snacks were wonderful. A perfect plae to stay - would certainly recommend to others.
