Stayed at the Due Torri in order to see Aida at the Arena. The building itself is spectacular, particularly the lobby-lounge. The room itself was lovely, with everything you would expect for this standard of hotel, and it was well situated. However it was disapointing that there was no way to watch Wimbledon or indeed find any English news stations.... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights when in Verona for business. It's location is very good for tourist sights and for some great restaurants. Whilst they class themselves as 5 star, it's not the standard of quality you expect from other 5 star hotels in the world. It's very Italian and very European. The rooms have lots of... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Duo Torri. This hotel has charm and class and each room is very different without the normal hotel look, we had a room with its own balcoly on the 4th floor and an atmospheric view across the roof tops. The dinning area was great and served very good food the Lamb is especially... more

We stayed in the Due Torri Hotel Baglioni in June 2008 and paid £404 per night for a double room. The hotel interior is fairly dark and could almost be classed as 'gothic'. We were shown up to our room but it appeared small and drab so we requested a better room and were willing to pay whatever supplement was... more

Well, things have changed at the Due Torri. I, as most people only read the reviews after returning. Good Job too, as things have obviously changed significantly at the Du Torri. We arrived to great service to the room - nice clear guides in the beautiful room. Excellent levels of service with many extra touches. Bowl of fruit in the... more

I found the recommendation for this hotel in a guide book- Eyewitness Travel Guide and must admit I was somewhat disappointed. It was presented as "one of Italys most exentric hotels in a vast 14th century building, each room decorated in a style from a particular period". The room was nice, and everything seemed to work satisfactorily, but that was... more

I found this hotel to be excellent. The giant central room is very elegant and a wonderful place to have a drink. The staff was friendly. The rooms are small but nice--the elevator was small. The breakfast was good. Walking distance to everything. more

Had read the reviews here prior to my stay - was a little concerned however i always treat them "with a grain of salt" and some scepticism. The hotel is owned by the Baglioni hotel group. The Hotel itself is fairly nice - however i do doubt whether it is infact a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a deluxe... more

do not ask them to book any extra service there: taxi, car, ticket, guide, etc. I found out that there's a complex system of bribing among the hotel staff so you will end up paying something like 60% more the normal price. never found such a rude staff. more

I spent only a night at the hotel, because it was the only one with rooms available in a very booked week-end. I must say I had not read the reviews here, which would have helped. I doubt this hotel deserves a 5-star classification based on the quality of the rooms and service. I was in a single room, very... more
