We stayed one week in one of the appartments of Villa Sagramoso Sachetti and enjoyed our staying. A comfortable appartment, beautiful surroundings en the hospitality of the two lady owners was great! When you want to visit Verona we recommend this accomodation. And don't forget to visit Vincenza! To us it was more beautiful than Verona.

we were a large group of family and friends in Italy for our daughter's wedding in nearby Villa Giona. We filled the two apartments and several rooms in the villa for 8 days. Our arrangements were very complicated with many changes of arrival and departure times for various party members, specific requirements (disability access for example) and Ludovica could not... The villa is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! My mother and I stayed for one night in Verona, while touring around Italy by train. Chiarastella and Ludovica (the sisters who own the villa) helped us with everything we needed- from getting to the villa by taxi, dinner reservations, and we even rode home with them from the opera. The... More

We stayed one night in the suite which was beautiful - breakfast is sumptuous with fruit and cereal, cake, cold meats, and cappuccino on demand. Yum. The villa is handsome and tasteful. It's owners are in keeping with it! Then we stayed 6 nights in one of the apartments which was greT. The pool is wonderful. Verona is 20 mins... More

Beautiful place, Ludovica and Chiarestella were very friendly and helpful, lovely breakfasts, plenty to do in Verona and Lake Garda, but equally nice to stay around villa and enjoy garden and pool and read books.

We recently returned from a family trip to Italy. While the Villa Sagramoso is indeed a beautiful villa, I had the worst hotel experience ever staying there. My husband and I along with our three kids - ages 22,20 and 17 stayed two nights at the Villa - my husband and I on one floor and the three kids in... More

We regret that our house was not the appropriate place for the Lady and her family. Our few rules are nothing more than common and mundane rules of education to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay in the peace of a historical mansion. Kind regards, Chiarastella e Ludovica Sagramoso Sacchetti More

This is one of the best B&Bs in Verona. We stayed on the property of the Villa in one the 85 sq. meter apartments. We had free access to the Villa, the library, the pool and all the grounds and facilities. If you are looking to be treated like royalty, this is the place! I have stayed in numerous Relais... More

One of the best experiences in Italy. If not the best . Personal touch, home made food for breakfast , atmosphere as in the family of the owners.... I can only praise Chiarastella for her dedication and customer care....congrats and just go there !

At the end of October, my wife and I were joined by a daughter for three nights at this wonderful estate near Verona. Although easily accessible from the Verona airport, and close to the city, the villa is in a quiet, pastoral location, with a garden and vast lawn and bordered by vineyards. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This elegant, monumental, fifteenth century building stands on the flood plains on the right bank of the Adige River in a landscape full of historical importance only 8 km from the centre of Verona. From this dominant position there is a panoramic view of Valpolicella and the heights of the western area of Lessinia.Chiarastella and Ludovica Sagramoso Sacchetti have decided to bring back to life, their ancient Venetian villa, family home and focal point of their agricultural activity so that the atmosphere, traditions and flavours of the land and its past can be rediscovered and the historical heritage of our country can be appreciated. The harmonious colours of the drapery and upholstery in the suites, the classical interiors, the careful attention to detail even in the choice of bed linen, makes each room unique. The Villa is characterized by the warm, exclusive atmosphere of a private home. This care and attention can also be found in the rich breakfast served according to the season and the weather in the dining room or in the garden. Our villa is the ideal starting point to discover our beautiful land and to get to know the culture, the traditions and attractions of some of the most beautiful Italian cities. We are close to Verona, Mantova, Vicenza, Padua, Treviso, Venice, Ferrara and only 13 kms away from the well known Lake of Garda. Each corner of this wonderful area has churches, monuments, stately homes and museums to be discovered and of course a wine and food tradition with a particularly rich variety of specialities to enjoy. ... more   less
