I read so many mixed reviews on this site that I was confused before I booked. I guess what sold us was the price on the triple. And a triple we got for a cheap price and three single beds. The rest of it just did not work out. It is very far from the city center. I think the... more

I have ever stayed there once last year when I went to exhibit the Vicenza Fair. There is nothing surround the hotel. but I found one Kabab restuarant around there, The owner is Pakistanian. He is quite a nice guy. He gave me a bottle of beer for free. His religion is not allowed to drink so he can't sell... more

The hotel was nice enough although the staff were not great on the reception. The restaurant staff were very pleasant, welcoming & helpful. The location is awful as it is a 10 min bus journey on a local bus, there is nothing around the hotel so you either need to stay and eat in the hotel every evening (which the... more

Nothing! Dirty rooms, poor air conditioning in rooms, rude personnel (they tell you one thing over the phone, and at the end the do another) and very low value for money (extremely expensive, at its 4 kms from the city center). By the way, there is no way this is a 4 star hotel. Also, when we made a complaint... more

For a 4* hotel the Maxim is a little tired but we found it to be good value having paid £150 for a triple room for 2 nights. We booked in April through RoomsNet.com, who we have used several times. We did email the hotel direct as they seemed to have a special offer on their website but we are... more

This hotel is located at least 10/15 minute bus journey from Verona (Arena) centre and the bus service in the evening non existent so a taxi is a must after 8pm. There are no restaurants or cafes nearby so nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel. Taxi cost varied between Euro 13 / 15. Rooms in the hotal... more

Nice clean room. A bit out of town. Shuttle bus to opera was 9 euros but it was only 9 euros by taxi. Breakfast on Sunday did not account for the large number of guests who had got back after 2.00am from the opera and needed a late breakfast. There was a huge queue. more

Booked this hotel for our 1 night stop in Verona. We were pleasantly suprised as it was quite cheap. We walked back from the Arena to the hotel which took us approx. 45 minutes, so a little out of the way. Great breakfast and helpful stay. Would recommend. more

We stayed for 3 nights to see the Opera in the Arena. The hotel was quiet and the room comfortable with efficient air- conditioning. We found the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were super as other reviewers have already said and we dined in the hotel each evening. We used the set menu which at 18 euros semed good value... more

Directions to the hotel from their website weren't very thorough however once found it proved worth the travelling. A great, value for money, business type hotel. Breakfast was good, room was large with a very large bathroom too with bath and separate shower. Staff were OK - not excessively friendly but not rude either. Parking in the garage was an... more
