The details make the difference, and this definitively can not be applied to this hotel, which is only ok (clean, good breakfast...). Some things need to be replaced, renewed and also fixed (I had a large watermark in the ceiling of my bathroom, that by the way, is totally purple). Ok but just for one night stay. One more detail:... More

Hotel Maxim is on the tired side. Not deserving on 4 stars. it is also a good ways out of downtown. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast is adequate. We were in town for a show and felt the price was high for what you got.

This place is 3 stars tops. I've stayed in Italy about 175 nights over the years, and this is the first hotel labeled 4 star that was a major disappointment. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke. When we asked to change the room, they blamed a hotel guest and said that they were unable to change our room that day.... More

Undoubtedly, the greatest asset of this hotel is its staff-in particular Marco on reception. Girls in the restaurant were also pleasant & attentive. The breakfast, available over 3 hours ,was of a very good standard & far better than I have experienced elsewhere in Italy . Bakery selection was outstanding. A little bit out of the main city & not... More

Hotel is outaide of city center, but easy to reach downtown by car, 15miin. Price is very reasonable-50€ for two plus taxes, but they charge wi fi additional 12€ for 24h and that is biggest minus to them-only reason cuz I gave 4stars instead of 5 Parking garage in basement is one of reason to choose them. Nice breakfast

Myself and partner have just spent three days here, good points we paid around £40 per night which is more than reasonable, breakfast was decent, lots of choice. The location is fine, a little out the city, 12 euro in a taxi if you don't want to mess with the buses. The room was clean enough and serviced daily. The... More

The Hotel is actually 'only' 2km far from the city center but for Verona 2km is very far and the route to get there isn't very safe for a girl (especially if she's alone). So its better to take a taxi from 9o'clock! For me the Hotel was a little too avaricious: check in not earlier than 2pm and check... More

Stayed just overnight on our way to Tuscany. The price is OK, as is the room itself, garage is included in the room price. Not suitable for any longer Verona stays, as the center is really far. Wifi didnt work even in the lobby.

Good hotel for its price, have free parking, close to the highway but still quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is nice. It is better you leave the car in the parking and take the bus to the old city, station is nearby. They charge a lot for WiFi - this is unacceptable.
