We got to the hotel later than expected and after a long flight from the states and a half day at a trade show I really wanted to take a shower iron a shirt and. Go grab dinner. Well I had no idea that it's against the law in Italy to have an iron in your hotel room you have... More

We went to Verona for my birthday and staying in this hotel was great, the staff was kind and the room was comftable, the only complain will be the breakfast, the ladies that were cleaning seemed angry almost all the time.

Before going to Verona, I read up on several hotels to stay at. Came across this hotel, most reviews were good, had a few bad ones but decided to stay there any way. The hotel is 35 euros in a taxi from the airport. You can catch a bus at 9 euros each to the train station then walk from... More

Been a while since my last review. This was entirely due to our visit to the hotel Maxim. Hotel itself was dull to say the least, needing some T>L>C. Although the room was very nice and comfortable. No restaurant open unless more than fifteen people.Reception was rediculously slow. and not a word of welcome or indeed any conversation at all. before... More

The Maxim is probably more of a business type hotel, but its quiet location was a nice change from the hectic city center. The rooms were comfortable and basic. If it's very hot outside, like it was in July 2015, the air conditioning doesn't work so well on the high floors. Breakfast and bar were good. Service was very good,... More

This hotel is only a 5 min cab into the centre of Verona. We stayed there as a family of 4 and the family room was big with plenty of room. This is what I would call a 3 star hotel anywhere else in the world but having stayed in Italy several times before I understand how they rate it... More

The room was clean there was some issues like the card cover to the room fell out in our hands. It was close to a supermarket and a great kebab shop across from the bus stop into to town. The people were not very friendly and we had to pay for Wifi, after using a certain amount which was not... More

Very good hotel, clean and wide. (The only "problem" was the scent of cigars on the corridor, but inside the room it wasn't perceptible). Great and gentle staff. Quiet place, outside the city center. Awesome price and incredible breakfast! Great deal!!!

Here for a week. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Towels and sheets changed daily. Large buffet breakfast, hot and cold. Quite a walk into town but buses good. Hotel staff very helpful. Recommended restaurants close by, one of which, Notte e Dio, we got 20% discount because we were staying at the Maxim. First time ever we have had tea... More

The hotel is a little outside from the centre of Verona you need car or taxi. Needs renovation urgently... at least we book it for good price for 5 days. On the ground floor is one large super market very positive if you need something to buy. Also the hotel has big free parking in the basement. The rooms are... More
