I spent three nights in Verona, based at the Leopardi. The town centre is a bit of a walk away, but once off the main road (5 minutes) it is a pleasant and relaxing walk that includes great views of the river, bridges old town etc and is an opportunity to see some of the outer reaches of the old town... Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the town center. Rooms are comfy and very clean. Staff friendly and ready to help (We woke up the receptionist in 1AM to tell us where to eat :) ). There's not much to see around.

I am staying here at the moment. Expedia claimed it was close to the city centre but it's over a 25 minute walk to the centre of town. On checking in I wasn't provided any map or given any details about the free breakfast that came with the room. Finally there is no free wifi - it is charged at... More

Dear Sirs, in the XXI century it is difficult to think that before leaving from Australia you don't find the time to look on google maps where one hotel is located. Hotel Leopardi is outside the ancient city walls 20 minutes walking from the Arena and 5 minutes to the wonderful Basilica of San Zeno. It is clearly written everywhere... More

Stayed here for a week in August, professional and courteous staff with a friendly greeting everyday, the rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was tremendous with plenty of choice, we didn't eat in the restaurant so cant make any comment (restaurant is closed on a sunday). Other reviews complained about the walk into the centre of Verona (approx 20 minutes).... More

Visited Hotel Leopardi in August 2014 with a friend. The hotel is situated a pleasant 20-30 min walk from the centre of Verona (taxi cost app. 10 euros). A taxi ride from the airport costs approximately 30 euros. The railway station is a 25 min walk away. We had a spacious twin room on the 4th floor. Room included table/chairs,... More

This 1970's-ish hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the town - it is used by holidaymakers, business people and aircraft crew, so it's a busy place ........ really could do with a refurbishment and update - the staff were professional but not particularly friendly. Our room was clean and well equipped - the restaurant was closed when we... More

Stayed for a week in this Hotel as we visited Verona and used as base for visiting surrounding areas. Room was spacious, huge bed ( really usual continental 2 beds together ). This is a very nice hotel, room is in well condition with big space and come with free car park, it's very important if you travel at Italy with car. It's located a little bit far from the centre of the old town but it would not be an issue if you are driving, just beware of ZTL zone inside... More
