Verona is a very pretty city, like most of Italy's destinations a nice place to walk around. The Leopard's hotel staff is very nice and pleasant, but unfortunately it doesnt compensate for the poor hotel's location. This hotel is far away from the touristic part of a city that is supposed to be visited and discovered by walking, Taxi cabs... More

We spent two days in Verona. During 10 minutes slow walk you get to San Zeno Basilica, during another 10 minutes to Ponte di Castelvecchio and historical centre. Nice free breakfast, including bacon and eggs, even some gluten free bread. We parked our car outside the hotel, thas is for free. Garages are available for money. Comfy beds, good hotel... More

Quite a comfortable hotel- the rooms are spacious, well kept and clean. Although the hotel is just outside of the historic downtown, the walk is reasonable (20 mins) with a lot to see on the way. A taxi from the station should be around 10-12EUR. The complimentary breakfast is very good quality with a lot of variety. The only negative... More

This is an ok place to stay, nothing more. Don't expect 4 star service, staff at the receptions desk is not interested. The rooms are spacious. The first day breakfast was with old croissants and old bread. The next day was better. Keep in mind that the hotel is at least a 30 minute walke away from the Center of... More

We have stayed Verona for 3 nights. The hotel location is a bit outside for the old historical part of Verona but definitely walk able distance or taxi if doesn't feel like walking. The bus stop to lake Garda is conveniently located only 5 min away from hotel. I would recommend to take bus to make a day trip to... More

That was my crew hotel but also stayed as a guest with my husband and we really liked that. The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly and breakfast really good. It's not so close to the center but it's a nice walk...about 20 minutes. You will love it!

I slept very well. Hotel staff very friendly.Breakfast was great. Did not use restaurant although the menu looked good. Also... More

I spent three nights in Verona, based at the Leopardi. The town centre is a bit of a walk away, but once off the main road (5 minutes) it is a pleasant and relaxing walk that includes great views of the river, bridges old town etc and is an opportunity to see some of the outer reaches of the old town... Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the town center. Rooms are comfy and very clean. Staff friendly and ready to help (We woke up the receptionist in 1AM to tell us where to eat :) ). There's not much to see around.

I am staying here at the moment. Expedia claimed it was close to the city centre but it's over a 25 minute walk to the centre of town. On checking in I wasn't provided any map or given any details about the free breakfast that came with the room. Finally there is no free wifi - it is charged at... More

Dear Sirs, in the XXI century it is difficult to think that before leaving from Australia you don't find the time to look on google maps where one hotel is located. Hotel Leopardi is outside the ancient city walls 20 minutes walking from the Arena and 5 minutes to the wonderful Basilica of San Zeno. It is clearly written everywhere... More
