We stayed at Hotel Firenze twice - once after Venice before heading north to the Dolomites and then on our way back. The first time we stayed we got a nice size room - reasonable in price 130 euros. Immaculately clean and decent size - all the amenities - television, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and extras like slippers (they even come... more

Stayed 1 night with my wife and two daughters (9+13). We were provided with two very comfortable rooms located beside each other as requested. The location is central, the staff friendly, rooms very clean and breakfast good, but as the hotel is on a very busy road we were awake from before 6am with the noise as our rooms were... more

Nice hotel close to all attractions, cafes, restaurants etc. If you book it ahead you can reserve a car parking space in a nearby car park (15 euro per day) – hotel staff member will accompany you in the car to park up, and again when you want to collect it a member of staff will accompany you to direct... more

Pros: The rooms are nice with automatic blackout shutters and lux bathrooms. Good beds too. Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Cons: Longish walk to the arena. The lobby needs some spiffying up. Overall costs less than some hotels nearer the arena but it's not that central. more

We had a 2 night stay here to attend the Opera and explore Verona. The hotel is conveniently situated a short walk to station and into the Arena area of the city. Our room was stylish and the bathroom large for Italian standards, including the jacuzzi (although we had to read the instruction book to operate the shower etc). The... more

My family and I spent 2 nights in the annexe part of the hotel. A lovely room / apartment with 2 sleeping rooms and a kitchen / dining area. Location is brilliant just 10 minute walk from the Ampitheatre and Piazza Erbe. Breakfast was nice but not brilliant. We had a great stay. more

Really good place this. We are a family 5 and we rented two of the "Apartments" which are adjacent to the main hotel situated on the main road into Verona, very close to the sights. Very clean and well appointed - not cheap but good value. more

Wonderful hotel with nice spotless rooms. Excellent value! I reserved a single room. It was nicely decorated, oversized bathroom with interesting shower. Flat screen TV and Air conditioning. I stayed overnight after the Opera. Someone of a little walk back to the hotel from Piazza Bra but a very nice stroll and a straight shot down the street. The hotel... more

Had a great weekend in Verona. We had two rooms - one at the front of the hotel which was fairly smally and one at the rear which was a much better size. The shower in the smaller room did not work properly and still did not at the end of our trip. The rear room had a great jacuzzi... more
