The location of Giberti Hotel is conveniently located almost in the middle between the Verona main train station and Verona city centre. As a traveller by train, this was very convenient and made it easy to get to and from the hotel. Overall it was a good experience and the front-desk staff was friendly. The breakfast staff didn't seem to... more

The hotel Giberti is well situated about a 10-15 minute walk from the arena. It was clean and comfortable, no problems; breakfast was a very good buffet, (however the sign re-questing guests not to take food out was rather unfriendly). It is very near the train station. The staff was helpful when asked for something, but was entirely distant; no... more

Travelled to Verona by train from Venice. Hotel is within 10 minutes walk of train station. Large comfortable rooms, in a quiet and convenient location. Decor is slightly dated and breakfast was sufficient. 10-15 minutes walk to Ampitheatre (turn right out of hotel) 7 euros to enter. Would reccommend walk up the stylish Via Mazzini past the designer shops to... more

As a married couple we arrived and received a room with two single beds. (the booking was made in May!) We were able to change the room but ended up on the 5th floor where the air conditioning system was not working. You can open the window but there is a horrible view and noise. After visiting a few other... more

Stayed at Geberti for 2 nights in June while going to opera. We had a wonderful time, the location is great for walking into town, just 5-10 minutes to main area. Hotel clean and comfortable, would stay there again. Verona is great and everything seemed good valud. more

I was there for a one night stay with my girl friend in July 2009. We booked a double superior room by travel agency. After the cold welcome by the bored welcome staff, we went to our room and found 2 separate beds. We went back to the reception, and asked for a room with a single bed for a... more

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights a few years back. Although a short walk from the entrance to the main city (about 10-15mins) we found it to be adequately close if you don't mind a bit if a short walk. The room was very big, with a big bathroom also with shower and bath tub, and there was a... more

My partner had organised for a surprise trip to Verona for my birthday and booked this hotel. Although the location is very good the actual hotel we thought was awful, it certainly wasn't the kind of city break, let along birthday treat that I would wish for anyone. We left the hotel on our last day feeling exhausted and ripped... more

There's nothing terribly special about this hotel but nothing wrong with it. It's a typical 100-room hotel. The location is pretty good, a 10 minute walk from the Arena and the old town. The room was not very big but adequate for a night's stay. The room was really noisy. You could hear a lot happening in the other rooms... more

The location of the hotel is quite convinient - 10 min from Arena, the appearance is also rather good, rooms are big enough, everything is very clean and comfortable. There's air-conditioning, LCD TV and mini-bar, safe etc., so everything was as described on the web site. The main drawback is breakfast (but I've read the reviews so I was ready... more
