Hotel is in a great location and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was average sized with views over the rooftops. Within a few minutes you are right by the magnificent Arena. Didn't really notice any particular facilities offered by the hotel as we just stayed one night and spent most of our time exploring the city. Breakfast was... More

We have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions now, for an annual opera pilgrimage. Reception staff are always friendly and polite. The rooms are well appointed and large, with tea/coffee making facilities. Airconditioning is effective and it is a 5 minute walk from the arena. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms large, we will be back in 2016!

This hotel is perfectly located if you are visiting Verona to see a show (opera, concert, etc.) It is only about 100m from the piazza where the Arena is located, but in a side street which insulates it from the noise and throng in the piazza. The hotel itself is pretty traditional, and the reception area quite a spectacle. Staff... More

This is a fairly old but nice hotel. The location is fantastic - in the old city, right by the arena, a walking distance to anywhere in the old city. The accommodations are very nice. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is clean and spacious as well. Internet connection is free and good. The only reason that it does... More

The positive about this hotel is the location to get round Verona, just a couple of steps and you are in the heart of restaurants, shopping and the theatre. The hotel is very quiet I felt at times I were the only one in the place, the rooms are maybe the worse I have stayed in in Italy. We had... More

My husband and I have stayed here many times. The hotel is well placed for the Piazza Bra where the Aren is. It took just one hundred paces to reach the square (100yrds). Comfortable, air conditioned, clean, good breakfast, friendly attentive staff, good price. You can't go wrong! This time we were in room 18 which was spacious and well... More

Just leaving this tired building in a very convenient location to the arena. In my experience it really isn't a hotel, more just a place to sleep, for one night at the most if going to the opera. The website totally overstates the level of comfort and services you can expect. There is a bar on the opposite corner that... More

Very central, being close to Piazza Bra. Rooms are large and comfortable if a little old fashioned. Lots of gilt framed mirrors and chintz. The door and safe are both operated by a physical key and there was an ashtray in the room. Rooms were well thought out with plenty of storage space for both hanging and folded clothes, and... More

We found this to be wonderful hotel for the price located a block from main plaza near coliseum. Staff was gracious and recommended restaurant that was one of best meals on our Italy trip. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here for four days in May. Perfectly located behind the main row of cafes/bars that look on to the amazing Arena meaning that good food, drinks and people watching are all a stones throw away as are the main strip of shops that leads up to the piazza del'erbe. As i stayed with a group we had three double... More
