Bed and Breakfast Castelvecchio is a fantastic place for anyone spending time in Verona and wants to be close to the main sites. What I loved most about this place were the hosts and that it had character and local feel. Giulia and her mother are fantastic people! They made me feel like I was home and with my own... More

This was a great B&B to stay in and just around the corner from the main piazza. The lady who runs it 'Giulia' was lovely and very helpful when we arrived. When we said we'd like to go on a day trip to Lake Garda she recommended Sermione and it really was stunningly beautiful. You have to share the bathroom... More

Giulia is a very nice host and very helpfull. We could park in the street with a car-pass and got a very nice room. The location couldn't be better within a couple of minutes walking you are at the piazza with the arena, the center of the city!

We stayed in mid July for one night in a room across the street, in their second property (B&B Re Lear). Again the B&Bs are in an apartment building and you ring the apartment bell to announce yourself. Both B&Bs are on the second floor above ground, and both have lifts. There were 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms to share.... More

Spotless, homely atmosphere, a few minutes' walk from the Arena, shops and restaurants. Giulia's cheerful welcome got things off to an excellent start. Her advice and explanations were very useful. We are not a young couple, and probably reminded the other visitors of their grandparents, but felt very comfortable at this B&B. The elevator was helpful after a day's walking,... More

I've stayed at a number of B&B's throughout Europe the past few years. These are some standards to evaluate them on: - Communication (English speaking, responsive emails) - Breakfast (fresh or packaged, variety) - Cleanliness/attractiveness - Helpfulness (Restaurant recommendations, city knowledge) - Location (distance from train station and city center) - Friendly welcoming - Fast and reliable Wi-FI This B&B... Stayed here in Feb 2014. The B&B was great value for money and very comfortable. We had plenty of room, tea and coffee when we wanted, plenty of hot water and great service from our host Giulia. It wasn't the most luxurious of B&Bs but for young travellers it couldn't have been better.

This was a great find in Verona - Giulia was an amazing host from start to finish. She and her boyfriend were very helpful, giving us advice and telling us about the city. It was in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance to the Arena and lots of shops and restaurants. It was also such good value and... More

We had a hard time getting hotels under 150$ that weren't littered with bad reviews from tripadvisor. This B&B was half the price but in the same location as the hotels I looked into. I knew what to expect as far as sharing baths with other guests however I was unprepared for No Air Conditioning. If AC is important to... More

I think is rather the guesthouse than B&B. It is big flat with 4 rooms and shared kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms. Gulia was nice but her boyfriend even more and he told us very lot about city. The breakfast is self service and the choice is very simple. Best think is location. Supermarket is really close and main square... More
