The hotel in itself is nice, elegant, stylish rooms, quality material throughout, marble in the bathroom. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The bed was comfortable enough. It was a hassle to get the wifi working because each device you had needed a different username and password that expires at pretty much every new access. It was so noisy that you... More

We found this hotel on lastminute.com. We were only looking for a place to stay for 1 night. After reading reviews and looking at pictures we decided to upgrade to a "superior room" and were very much looking forward to it. When we arrived our room was not yet ready so we left and returned about 20mins later. This was... More

Pros: - One of the nicest 3 star hotels I have ever been in (better than some 4 star hotels!). Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great bathroom, good shower water pressure, large room, beautifully presented. - Location: (Walking) Arena (6mins), Juliet's balcony (13mins), Duomo/Cathedral (19mins), Piazza delle Erbe (13mins), Castelvecchio (7mins), Teatro Filarmonico (4mins), Teatro Ristori (3mins). - Free in-room WiFi... The staff are rude, the rooms do not look like they do on the web site and the Spa may well be shut when you want to use it because of 'Private Bookings'.... Mmmmm - I hope they clean the Spa after 'private bookings' dont you think? It put us off going in there the following day to be honest.... More

Although relatively basic hotel the hotel is ideally placed to explore the sights of Verona and also walking distance of the train station. Service is good and breakfast was ideal with lots of sweet choices.

stayed 3 nights in a superior room. The one we stayed in was across the street from the main reception, was spacious, high ceiling, newly decorated, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The room had a shower and we saw another with a bath and shower over. It was quiet and perfect for us. Close to the arena and... More

Stayed here for 1 night and loved it. Friendly hotel in a great location - 10 minute walk to the Arena / Liston area, 15 minutes to the train station. Great breakfast, with plenty of choice and delicious cakes. After reading the tip about nearby Ristorante Pizzeria Marechiaro, we ended up eating there twice,as the food was excellent.

Marco Polo is very well situated small hotel in heart of Verona city. Staff is also very helpful and services offered are at very high standard. Absolutely nothing to complain. Rooms (standard level) are clean, maybe little bit tiny at the first look, but quite enough when reconsidered at the end. Very close location of underground parking garage is another... More

If you're visiting Verona, you won't be spending a lot of time sitting in your hotel so the Marco Polo has the ideal combination of decent rooms, an excellent breakfast and a good location. The rooms are furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Breakfast included an excellent selection of hot eggs, bacon, the usual cold meats, pastries and... More
