Spent a weekend with 8 British colleagues/customers. The hotel is fine, rooms are clean and have a nice style. We slept in the dependance (Gallery room) 50 mt from main hotel. Breakfast is ok, but the best is the location, 5 min walking from the Arena. Easy to reachby car (10 min from the exit) and 8 €by taxi from... More

This is a lovely little hotel within a short walking distance of all the attractions of Verona. On a side street just a little way from Piazza Bra and the Arena. We had rooms in the annexe across the road from the main hotel where there is a Spa. Our rooms were modern, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are great,... More

Just a few minutes walk from the Arena, but outside the area in which parking permits are needed, making it very convenient. The hotel has its own parking, and is pet friendly, but does NOT have a pool, which the trip adviser listing says it does Very good breakfast included in the price, and they were happy with the dog... The Marco Polo hotel is located just 200 yards away from the Verona Arena, which is opposite the superb crescent of restaurants and bars known as the Piazza Bra.For anyone who has problems walking Verona is perfect as it has a small central area, again with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.Electric bikes can be hired alongside the park at Piazza Bra,again perfect... We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the old town of Verona. It was fairly easy to find when we arrived by car. We got help from the receptionist to get the luggage out of the car and he showed us the garage where we could park the car in a very safe underground garage with lockable doors... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 via mobile

The hotel in itself is nice, elegant, stylish rooms, quality material throughout, marble in the bathroom. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The bed was comfortable enough. It was a hassle to get the wifi working because each device you had needed a different username and password that expires at pretty much every new access. It was so noisy that you... More

We found this hotel on lastminute.com. We were only looking for a place to stay for 1 night. After reading reviews and looking at pictures we decided to upgrade to a "superior room" and were very much looking forward to it. When we arrived our room was not yet ready so we left and returned about 20mins later. This was... More

Pros: - One of the nicest 3 star hotels I have ever been in (better than some 4 star hotels!). Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great bathroom, good shower water pressure, large room, beautifully presented. - Location: (Walking) Arena (6mins), Juliet's balcony (13mins), Duomo/Cathedral (19mins), Piazza delle Erbe (13mins), Castelvecchio (7mins), Teatro Filarmonico (4mins), Teatro Ristori (3mins). - Free in-room WiFi... The staff are rude, the rooms do not look like they do on the web site and the Spa may well be shut when you want to use it because of 'Private Bookings'.... Mmmmm - I hope they clean the Spa after 'private bookings' dont you think? It put us off going in there the following day to be honest.... More

Although relatively basic hotel the hotel is ideally placed to explore the sights of Verona and also walking distance of the train station. Service is good and breakfast was ideal with lots of sweet choices.
