I don't care for crowds and a lot of noise so this was a great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood a short bus ride away from Verona. Emanuela was very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable with a very nice breakfast outside in the back garden. It was easy to get to Verona and back even... More

Breakfast is included in the price (including jam of the host's production!). Emanuela is very helpful, and speaks good English. Rooms are spacious, clean, with en suite bathrooms. Well furnished. We were fortunate to stay on a day in which the locals celebrate carnival by cooking gnocci: she directed us to a great local restaurant within walking distance (circa 10... More

Me and my boyfriend spent only one night at Colifata and honestly wished we could stay longer. We did have a little problems finding the place, we got directions from Emanuela but still spent some time walking around the village San Massimo. We weren't able to meet Emanuela since she was on her own holiday but Sabine, a lady who... More

We spent 3 nights and Emanuela's B&B and felt very much at home in her nicely done up and clean place. Emanuela is a very welcoming but discrete host. We had very nice breakfasts with homemade 'crostata', our 5 yaer old son enjoyed the baeutiful wooden games ready for the guests. The place is quiet for a good night's sleep... More

A bit late with the review as we were there in Aug 2011 for three nights. Better Late than never! We a, couple and a child were welcomed right from the train station by Robi and Emanuella and by the end of the three days we left as friends. Need we say more? A great place made excellent by the... You're right, better late than never! :-) We're really glad to hear that you were satisfied of your stay at B&B. We remember with liking your nice and friendly family. About air conditioning... done! We realized it was really necessary. We hope to meet you again sometime and wish you a very good life! Emanuela More

I stayed at Califata 3 nights. Some readers will be interested in logistics of the place. The B&B is located a little out of city center. If you have a car, thats no problem. If you take bus, thats no problem either. You can buy tickets at B&B and bus takes yuo right to the center. Room was lovely, clean... More

it was an amazing experience like meeting old friends. Emmanuela came to meet us at the train station and drove us to their guest house. Roberto drove us to our Baha'i conference at a hotel in another small town just outside of Verona. We were rescued by them...in so many ways. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B.

We stayed 3 nights at Colifata in mid September and love it. Emanuela is so friendly and helpful, telling us all the places in her great city to visit. She also suggested a day trip to Lake Garda which we really enjoyed. Only a few minutes walk to the bus stop and a short bus trip into Verona made this... More

Being late with the reservation I was grateful to get a doubleroom. The location is outside the centre but because they provide bikes it is very convenient to make the jump to the inner city. The breakfast was just delicious with freshly homebaked cakes and coffee, bread, marmalade and cheeses and I probably still forget some. Being lovely people they... More
